This single short text seems to entirely rewrite what the Forsaken culture is like, I remember apothecaries in the Undercity keeping humans in cages and using them for experiments that – in mostly gruesome ways – resulted in their deaths

Think about the first set of quests in the Tirisfal Glades, those have you turn a human prisoner into a decrepit ghoul – something that comes up again and again: Complete distaste and disrespect for “the living”

Is “Death to the living!” and “Beware the living!” over now, say it ain’t so bros

Edit: Forgot to make myself clear on the matter, to me this rewrite is on the level of an April Fool’s joke

Apparently all other Horde races are also being rewritten casually

I’m hoping this is someone’s uncle having a go at patch notes. A trainee who’s never played the game before. A blind man with no hands.

Surely it’ll be changed. Surely.

Literally 99% (I’ve checked everything, this is an accurate percentage) of Forsaken quests involve hatred for the living.

The funniest part is you play through cata-azeroth and after the BASED living-loving paragraph you go bashing human heads into dirt at level 10 in hillsbrad a true hero of our time.

Canonically, the PC never did any of the Cata-Azeroth quests - as all new players go from Exille’s Reach → BfA → Slands.

Eyes milk over as all the memories from Silverpine and Hillsbrad are erased from our minds

Was literally doing this quest today. I don’t really play Forsaken but this is dumb asl. The Horde was perfect as faction that isn’t exactly evil but does evil things (mostly for a greater good) - such as a lot of the Orcs’ atrocities being for their own survival. Now every race just has to become a peacecuck. It has happened to Tauren too.
