And to make a few things clear

1. Khadgar only appeared since W2. He wasn’t a character in the W1 game
2. Alleria of then to Alleria of now was fleshed out over time outside of the games. 2008 Books of Warcraft 2 story but more fleshed out potray an Alleria closer to the one of today.
3. I’m usually quite quick in calling out the “white man evil or must die” modern trope but Khadgar’s doesn’t really feel like it. If anything, it would be to give a chance to his VA, who’s 72 to retire and not have another VA.

I didn’t play War1. Not because I couldn’t have but because it’s a painfully mediocre game. Everything is difficult - moving, selecting, attacking. Bleh. And then you compare it to CnC and it’s like not even a contest.

I thought Khadgar was in War1? I know Medivh and Karazhan is, at least, because he’s behind the opening of the Dark Portal. Isn’t it Khadgar that tells us of this? Or was that retconned in later?

Anyway…

Those are all some good points, but I just can’t help but shake that feeling… it just keeps happening. Heroic sacrifice after heroic sacrifice, and most of them seem nonsensical, too. It should’ve been easy to get away but we just… don’t.

And then there’s the swarms of Nerubians debuff, but if you look up it’s trivial to just fly off.
