Spoiler warning! dont read if you have not started WW yet

Well, you have Baelgrim now, a strong male lead on the new zone.

I see them. I think mine are prettier.
Hey Blizzard, could you allow me to take my sandals off for once in 12 years? Thanks.

Yeah… About that.

He dies in the starting zone.

that is why the tittle says spoiler warning and not to read if you have not started WW yet. if people that do read it that have not started WW yet its their own fault to be spoiled then. i gave the warning nothing more i can do

How did you actually enjoy remix if you dont play retail? That game is about oneshotting raid bosses. You can eo that in vanilla already. The only point of remix was to collect transmogs for retail and to level alts quickly, for retail. lol

Oh no the DEI bogymen. I wonder what buzzword you guys will use next year.

Why are you attempting to gaslight people? Many companies have admitted to embracing and committing to DEI/ESG guidelines in order to secure funding or push a specific type of politics to the forefront, one that often comes at the expense of immersion and consistent, cohesive world building.

Many people, including those of us who are minorities ourselves, do not consider such blatant pandering and tokenism to equal representation or to be embraced in good faith.

Yes I am sure the writers got forced by the evil government cabal to kill Khadgar.

Perhaps you should do more research into what, exactly, these consultation firms are pushing for then. Pattern recognition is a thing after all and iconic male characters are consistently being killed off and/or replaced even as iconic female characters strangely remain untouched even after engaging in actions that are rightly branded inexcusable whenever a male character does it.

Why do you guys think Khadgars dead?
He reached out for that damn portal. He had a plan, a somewhat ā€œI don’t know what after this but let’s do this firstā€ kind plan, but a plan nontheless.
But it surely didn’t look like ā€œAh well, might as well just strech my hand out and get desintegrated * shrug*ā€

"2 tier infractions " ? regarding banning people in wow ?

seems to be really popular direction while policing people in UK atm ?

you gotta love conspiracy theories - they become reality so fast nowadays - in like 2-3 months since surfacing on internet

As an aside, if there’s such demand for these tropes then why do the games that actively embrace them such as Concord and Dustborn sell so poorly?

A rhetorical question, that.

Much like parasites, the ideology requires a successful host and so we see beloved and iconic settings hijacked to peddle the nonsense artificially.

I hope it would end at least like this:
ā€œKhadgar… that is what they used to call me, Khadgar the Grey. I am Khadgar the White.ā€

Not in 2024.

Khadgar the diverse

Kadgar literally sacrificed himself for Alleria, who is anything but a new character… but I guess we’re really at that point when you’re too young to even know warcraft 2 characters :smiling_face_with_tear:

As for Khadgar, yeah I like the guy but he’s really been and still going through way too many things. As if he’s that immortal super hero that was meant to never die all along. He was only COMPLETELY absent in w3 and base game wow

No, I know Warcraft 2 has Alleria. I have the Warcraft 2 BNE. I know about the alliance missions starting out in Stormwind and you push south into the dark portal, beyond it and close off the Dark Portal in a rather heroic sacrifice.

But that Alleria was a very stern woman, and certainly not void infused.

Idk, she’s just a very different character. This version of Alleria isn’t really that old. I mean… we saw her at the end of Legion sure, but she wasn’t very active.

And she certainly has nothing on Khadgar, who appears in Warcraft 1+2 and then re-appears in tBC.

Also, it just happened again… I just finished the second zone and it’s another prominent male character sacrificing himself for someone he or I barely even know. Turns out different though but he didn’t know that. And immediately prior he’s being chided for sacrificing himself to save the entire planet. It’s honestly a really toxic plot point and really devalues what it’s always meant to be a man.

That’s thrice in 2 zones.

It’s just getting really repetitive…

He s dead as Tirion and Wrynn, in 2 fingers snaps.

On purpose because… you know. The evil white old guy patriarcal must disappear

Once is a chance, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern

You understand that majority of the quests with butterflies , rainbow , even now in the new expansion many non gender characters etc…

Well yep …a lot of coincidence …
