[SPOILERS] Patch 8.2.5 spoilers

are you okay?

Perhaps not a guild but I find it certainly interesting if there was a group of alliance purgers who are hunting the vulpera who are desperately trying to make to safety.

So basicly:
Horde gets a whole new race as Allied race again and Alliance gets to have another reskin of one of races * again*?

Also if they abolish the factions, it might be the only thing that makes me want to return, so can’t wait! D:

replace Vulpera with any Horde member

some of us will likely carry on with the Good War even after the factions declare peace and co-existence and whatever flowery outcome we are getting for this expansion

Good because if vulpera do indeed come out, mine will have plenty of reasons to want to continue skinning alliance given the opportunity.

I maintain that we need a proper expansion around faction war.

BfA is pretty much it for the time being, if Blizz statements on that matter is anything to go by.

This expansion is precisely that.

Yup. This is how Blizzard handles the faction war when it’s made the main plotline and not a sideshow.

I hope they recognise that faction war storytelling is their weakest area and go back to the tried, tested and working formula of [Big Expansion Bad Guy] in [Newly Discovered/Recently Rediscovered] land.

They handled the discovery of Pandaria amazingly imo, and I was by no means sold on the themes when they revealed the expansion. Fleshing out new lands and peoples and having us explore them? Gimme.

Well its either “boring” but decently written story or “exciting” but terribly written story.

Or you know, play another game if you want better story.

I certainly hope you’re not talking about Legion or WoD.

Don’t worry, I am.

Legion’s story was better than BFA unfortunately, and WoD for all it’s horrendous lack of content at endgame had a fair story until they kind of forgot what they were doing (tends to happen when you have to completely revamp a zone near the end of a beta test).

Excellent, so am I. What are you playing?

confused screaming

Legion’s story was a mess, managing to add yet further retcons and confusion to how exactly demons work and muddling up Chronicles’ statements on it, not to mention the beatification of Illidan.

Fire Emblem Three Houses. I’m two routes deep at the moment, so two left and then a perfect playthrough to go.

WoD’s story was originally quite different, but due to the sheer squalling of beta testers the focus on Orcs, despite you know, it being an Orc themed expansion caused Gorgrond to receive a massive overhaul. Elements that were planned for the scrapped Faralohn (i.e netherstorm) area were brought into Gorgrond (basically the Botani stuff) and the story was changed heavily.
Since Talador lead after that it was a confused mess as to why Orgrim Doomhammer had a one scene appearance and was then dead

A series i’ve never touched.

So all this talk of Vulpera, where is the “evidence” that suggests they will be playable?

They got additional bones added to their models (both M+F) in the 8.2.5 PTR - there doesn’t seem to be much reason to do that unless they’re upgrading them to be playable, since they’re 8.0.1 models were already fine and high fidelity.

They were added to this list thing that only had currently playable races (And Zandalari and Kultirans.) before that they were given HoA animations as well, there is a load of other stuff but it takes hours of searching through old Wowhead posts.

Perhaps the time will come, I will be able to play my very own little desert fox.

There’s loads of evidence: updated models, a brewfest mug, lines in animation code which allows them to be featured in in game cinematics like when you get your HoA, animations, support for cloaks
