[SPOILERS] Patch 8.2.5 spoilers

Wouldn’t surprise me if the RAF transmog is just them testing the waters for player reaction.

Given that so far it’s a muted “whatever” expect storemogs soon™

Can’t wait for Sylv to kill Thrall in a CGI duel

Thrall declares another mak’gora except this time, the opponent cheats and calls him out before the dramatic execution.

It’d just be one of those fine moments if Sylvanas straight up refuses the challenge and points out that Thrall can’t be trusted in an honourable duel.

This would have more weight if Thrall had ever cheated at a mak’gora.

Y’know, when they were initially announcing that tier sets were going away for BFA, I was pondering if the talent and effort that was gonna go into 12 class sets per big patch might go into 12 other sets from different sources. Been pretty lowkey meh about it thus far, but seeing some of that promised new armor (and the game’s first rucksack) locked behind not only a paywall but a bloody play-time wall as well is genuinely disgusting.

But the fan meme goes that mak’gora needs to be in your undies, no magic and straight fighting and that Thrall lost all Honour in zapping Garrosh.

Sylvanas just posing a simple open question as to the Honour in what he did in Alt-Nagrand would be interesting at least if he’d challenge her on grounds of Honour.

If there’s someone who needs to be challenged on their grounds of honour it’s honestly Baine / Saurfang.

Their interpretation changes like the wind.

Honour is nothing but empty words and a culture meme to assert orc/tauren culture on other races unless strictly codified into concrete laws rather than being the subjective perspectives forced by shows of strength and the tyranny of expectation.

I will die on this hill, damnit.

Saurfang and Baine do need to answer for their own hypocrisy to be honest.

The Horde wouldn’t have been in such a mess if Saurfang would have followed Sylvanases orders in the first place and killed Malfurion. Baine wouldn’t be in all this trouble if he’d been properly outspoken in the first place instead of going behind Sylvanases back, having secret meetings with the Alliance and foiling her plans with them.

I hope that if they ever manage to return to Orgrimmar they just get booed.

BFA really badly needs the intervention of the Bronze Flight, tbqh.
They owe us one for that numbnut letting Garrosh espcape and inflicting WoD on us…

Nozdormu witnessed BfA, and that’s how he became Murozond.

That’s canon now.

I’d like it if unaware of how much they have changed, in desperation the Alliance opens the timestream to AU Draenor whether with help from the Bronze Flight like the Horde had or by force and called upon Yrel.

Could start off well and then the Alliances new ‘lightforged’ allies start doing what they did to Draenor and start converting or destroying everything they deem to be corrupt. That could cause this ‘lets defeat the old gods all at once’ expansion gets completely flipped on its head as a holy purgation force comes to ‘fix’ Azeroth, leaving the Alliance with their own moral dilemmas as more zealous races such as the Night Elves and Worgen side with this new force whilst other races such as maybe Gnomes and Dwarves and ESPECIALLY the Void Elves and Dark Irons disagree with this.

Dunno, man. It’ pretty unambiguous that Sylvanas isn’t the sort of leader who listens to polite suggestions and concerned citizens. Still better for upset orcs and tauren to protest loudly and clearly early on than rebelling whilst mumbling and grumbling indistinctly about vauge Honour. If it mattered so much all along, why were the principles not upheld in the face of this uncaring tyranny? The high ground is lost.

Except the Night Elf and Lightforged AU Draenei would be at odds since the Kaldorei don’t belief in The Light…( changed, just to make sure Contrite knows the difference between the RP and AD forums)

Maybe not a big a mess as they’re in now: but they would be moustache-twirling evil by starting a war again without even trying diplomacy, while Anduin is known as the Lord and Savior of Azeroth and being open to all races of the planet. After all he’s everyone’s High-King and their Lord and Saviour else his magic bones tingle and hurt him…

Edit: Also yaaay we’re getting another Horde CGI cutscene. Just what we needed. Probably’s going to tell how sad Sylvanas was that she had to burn down Teldrassil and burn those people alive while afterwards being forced to raise those death Night Elves and that made her superduper sad to…

((are we IC right now))

haha right on man, taz’dingo

No we aren’t, stop trying to be funny. Just stating that the Kaldorei don’t belief in the Light, while the Lightforged AU Draenei force it down everyones throat.

Sure would be nice if that ever came up

especially with the whole Night (Void) Warrior shtick…

“Hey, join the Alliance.”
“Sounds good!”
“We’ve also recruited these void elves, who are anathema to everything you stand for”
“…okay, I guess”
“And the Night Elves who followed a whole other belief system you weren’t already a fan of? They just got a void-based powerup.”
“COOL GREAT LOVE IT WOWEE CAN’T WAIT FOR WHAT COMES NEXT.”

Veterans of millennia of warfare grinding their teeth down to nubs. Thankfully, the Light will forge them new ones!

Now I can’t get the image out of my head; Fareeya grinning with a mouthful of gold teeth…

It’s almost like Blizzard  writers  haven’t  got  a clue!

Or a Lore Bible. Or any one head of story direction to keep things coherent and not messy, because clearly efficiency of multiple teams working on content at the same time without proper coordination is THE small Indie Company way of doing things, amirite guys?!

Sure would be nice, yea… Sadly Blizztard is a small indie company who lacks the funds and people to make it come up storywise :frowning:

Also is it confirmed the Night Warrior is Void-based? I mean its not even confirmed Elunes’ powers are from the Light(Just that Night Elves get it from her, instead of themselves) right?

I mean it could be anything; could be the same way in how where the Fire mages, Shamans and Destruction Warlocks get their fire powers from, totally different sources; but in the end they do exactly the same; hurt you :stuck_out_tongue:
