Oh hey, it’s a character I remember looking at with awe when I was playing for the very first time. I’m definitely not annoyed by this.
Of course … must protect Sylvanas’ new utopia. One more body against foundations makes little difference.
Well, what are you waiting for?
DO IT!
It’s weird that Amara isn’t just a pile of ash given that she presumably died in Teldrassil, but that hasn’t stopped them before, especially given Derek should presumably have dissolved years ago.
though seeing people furious about how BLIZZARD HUMILIATES NIGHT ELVES EVERY EXPANSION and thinking it’s a conspiracy against them is some real pepe silvia hours
Blizzard kicked my dog and said thats for liking nelves in warcraft 3
Pyrrhic victory in Nordrassil aside, have the Night Elves ever actually won a major conflict?
Not really. Not without help anyway.
A note on Amara - the new NPC has the surname ‘Lunastar’ and the old one had the surname ‘Nightwalker’. ‘Lunastar’ isn’t a particularly Forsaken name meaning that:
a) it’s a different NElf who shared first names or
b) blizz forgot about her last name and just picked a random one lmao nailed it
Blizzard see Elenthas’ post and nervously rush to cover up their mistake.
“Amara Nightwalker married just before the burning of Teldrassil and her name changed to Lunastar.”
Entirely on their own? No, but that’s something of a trend in WoW. The only example of a single race managing to win entirely on their own would be maybe the Orcs in the first war, but that required an entire race to be hopped up on demon juice.
Things like forcing the Horde out of Darkshore and Ashenvale during the events of Cataclysm come to mind, then in BFA’s Darkshore, assuming the Night Elves are the canon victors. We’ll have to wait and see in the thrilling conclusion…
Post-Dazar’alor Horde is losing across all theaters in the world. They’re quote weeks away from total defeat.
I thought Darkshore was evidence of Blizzard doing yet more trampling upon the noble Kaldorei
Sounds like it’s an oddity for them to win at anything given that whenever they try and fight the best they can manage is meekly pushing their invaders out before getting blitzed again
In all seriousness I do think Nelves have had a raw deal for ages. I only find it a bit irksome that most speak like other races haven’t been screwed with either. I do sympathise with them that BfA hasn’t been kind to them and the revenge thing is the stuff of memes (“Well we can’t focus too much on one character, we just have too many! Anyway back to Jaina…”) but I think we can all agree that this expansion hasn’t been particularly great for any race. Forsaken maybe but I have a guildie who laments that all nuance to the race seems to have been thrown into the trash.
It’s been a great expansion to be a Vulpera or a Void Elf
Why? One of those ain’t playable and the other is the worst race ever made. (Sorry coldshade)
Just a healthy bit of sarcasm. I thrive on it.
All of WoW needs to burn.
Its the only way to save it from itself.
Eats all the red pills
This is when they unveil Classic going into an alternative timeline and pull the plug on the modern game
And in a few years people lament the direction that the game and the lore have taken and yearn for those BfA days on which they look back fondly.
Bad writing will always be bad writing.
The race that’s been crapped on the most since vanilla were the Tauren. Sorry night elves.
Night elves have been victimized by:
- The Horde
- Some third party.
Tauren have been victimized by:
- The Horde.
- The Alliance.
- Their own (Grimtotem)
- Some third party.
Professional victims right here. No wonder Stockholm syndrome struck baine and now he loves Anduin very much.
