The giveaway was Blizzard have too much contempt for their players to think them capable of reading more than a paragraph or two at a time tops.
Around which time do US servers usually go up for us EU people so I know when to be prepared for the story?
Only a few hours before we find out which half of the Horde RP community will turn into pink wojaks for all time
Wish me luck, kings!
good luck!
Youāll make good rp from it, so no I wonāt wish you luck.
So long as we get a clear outcome, let the chips fall where they may.
Whatever happens, people need to remember that the end of the day itās just a game.
Iām seriously suspecting some sort of bad vindication writing for Sylvanas i.e āshe was right all along and totally wasnāt a moustache twirling villain.ā
Itās the one outcome I donāt want, yet Iām afraid thatās going to happen.
I hope they surpise us, for once. They have been very secretive despite some of the āallegedā leaks.
Though regardless of how grey you like your morality Iāve picked the spot on my table Iāll bash my skull against if the whole war, mass genocide, killing, destroying and the rest was because āto defeat old godsā. It would just feel so hollow and wellā¦ I canāt even find a suitable word to give adequate empasis to the despair.
And worse still it would leave a horrendous amount unanswered or resolved. That said, two 6 minute cinematics? That is unprecedented.
As ever with this expansion all we can do, is wait and seeā¦ fingers crossed for some actual plot content hey folks?
My prediction is people will be unhappy regardless of what happens
Kerrigan Two: Electric Boogaloo is on itās way, lads. Prepare yourselves.
But they -RETOOKED- Gilneas!
That seems a fairly safe prediction, considering the war campaign being almost universally disliked. At least among the more vocal playerbase.
I will be happy if we have a clearly defined ending. Not a cliffhanger, not an ambiguous epilogue, but an actual ending. Few things spark so many OOC arguments on this realm as ambiguous lore or things left open-ended.
Whether Sylvanas is vindicated or not is honestly a secondary point of interest to me.
Expect some form of cliffhanger due to an ongoing, evolving story but also a conclusion to what makes the sidestory of the faction war. Iāve placed my bets on the outcome in its surest ambiguity and its predictable unpredictability.
Just remember the shape of the beast up until this point with the Hordeās consistent steps through A, B and C to D alongside the Allianceās meandering reactiveness and self contained narrative. Ultimately, the war campaign is about the Horde managing Horde affairs in a bigger picture and moving pieces to and end. In this context, the Blue Team just sort of exists and expectations should adjust accordingly.
Things can be clear as day but latching onto minutiae to justify some grandiose extrapolation will always be a thing like the faithful arguing over verses in their holy texts by picking choice morsels.
Even then itāll all be settled in an instance by a dev team with vastly different priorities and the hot mess of arguments might get a cheeky reference years down the line, like the purge of Dalaran.
Oh I am not expecting a full stop to the narrative in itself, but the war campaign/faction war plot? Thatās a tale Iād would a definite ending for, unlikely as that might be.
Why does it take so long until the patch is live on the US!?!? D:
I donāt think their servers are up until likeā¦ 4 pm UK time? Or am I getting it all reverse now?
That takes way to long still! My resub depends on it! D:<
The content will still be there in two months (probably less buggy tooā¦) so you may as well drop sub now and then come back for the anniversary event or whatever.
The wait is killing me!!!
I wanna know how the campaign ends!
