[SPOILERS] Patch 8.3 Thread (Visions of N'zoth)

It compares very unfavourably to the Argus cinematic.

I am disappointed.

Everyone is hoping for a Mythic one now.

Have we had a Mythic cinematic that was any different? As in, ever?

No. We have had mythic phases extending the fight, but they never altered the outcome.

Nope.

I don’t expect anything to change either. Their has never been a mythic only cutscene and that’s because LFR is suppose to be the ‘Story Experiencing’ difficulty.

Highmaul was an exception to this - in that Cho’gall shows up and we kill him, whereas otherwise he just…disappears from the story entirely with no explanation.

Sure, but nothing like that really applies here.

Tears were shed alright. :pensive:

When the second to last boss gets a better cinematic than the last boss.

This really made it feel rushed.

I find it baffling people are not seeing the RotK reference in the entire thing.

For anyone wondering by the way.

Even the music sounded the same at first.

So as I am doing all these N’Zoth quests that involve a lot of travel and a lot of filling up bars, I wonder… am I gonna have to do this on alts as well?

I’m seriously praying all the focus has shifted over to making Shadowlands a damn good expansion, because this was honestly one of the most mediocre endings to an expansion I’ve ever seen, on par with DRAENOR IS FREE!!! Who at Blizzard seriously thought an in game render of a Dragon Ball Z attack followed by a 20-30 second cinematic of Sauron’s tower and some other buildings collapsing would be a satisfying conclusion to the expansion?

My first association, hands down.

so did we fix the sword yet

Oh bloodeh hell! We forgot teh heal teh giant woond, champion!!

i dunno it just seems important

It’s like with the Valithria encounter in ICC. Next expansion, we’ll overlevel the sword to the point where we can just bandage Azeroth back to full health.

They need to get rid of the heart of azeroth somehow. We’ll probably heal the wound with it and give it up in the process. Like with the artifacts in Legion.
