I don’t think there’s gonna be any mention from official channels though. What’s the point of posting an in-game cutscene (if that is the right terminology for this particular kind of cinematic)? They don’t look particularly good, most of the joy comes from seeing your own character in that and I’m pretty sure they generally don’t post those anyway.
I guess there’s the Wrathion one, but that’s a short mid-raid cinematic so not sure if they’d mention that either.
One thing I think is cool is how the entrance to the raid depends on where the current N’zoth invasion is happening.
I just want Shadowlands.
Honestly the cinematic was bad and cringey. Why does Blizzard insist on putting us as the all powerful hero ones in the center of the story? I mean, it’s tolerable to an extent but they’re going way over the line now.
Also why butcher the lore and its worth by simplifying an Old God’s impact on the world like this?
And also why do we always have to effing win?? Can’t we lose atleast for once and so further develop a detailed storyline.
I’m not sure I understand the disappointment when it comes to how N’zoth was defeated. I talked about my feelings on the cinematic earlier, but the Old Gods have basically all gone down like chumps in the past (and got even lamer when it was revealed they’re just jobbers for the Super Mega Old Gods Void Lords). We beat a fully released C’thun before even the first expansion (even if he was still regaining strength).
If anything, the fact N’zoth was able to have as much of a presence as he had and was still considered a genuine threat 8 expansions later just shows what a real Old God could do. Still didn’t amount to much, but it’s obvious he was stronger than the previous ones.

Are the horrific visions not meant to always drop the quest item needed to upgrade the cloak? I only got 100 corrupted mementos this last run.
