[Spoilers] Shadowlands Alpha

Says Thanosly

“Reality is often disappointing.”

Re-using 2D animation is pretty common. I remember some older films did it almost constantly.

@Telaryn

That dev failed his bluff check.

Steve Danuser did say that “the devil is in the details.” The reuse of that shot was most likely intentional for story, rather than depicting other Necrolords.

The scene’s followed by an entirely new scene depicting those same felguards over a mortal realm with Draka in it - they deliberately went out of their way to depict that scene from another angle within the same cinematic rather than just quickly throwing in one random shot of demons in there and forget aobut it.

That too. Side note, Christie Golden confirmed the word “ur’gora” used by Draka has the literal translation of “not honour” in Orcish. She states it is considered the peak of orcish insult.

If only Danuser and Golden could give us the plot the audience needs.

Sadly they’d never get it right.

Any Waifu material Blizzard produces turns into a psycho, carries out genocide, gets beep (Alexstraza) or is mad at some point of their lives.

I’d sent that meme of Blizzard’s chart of morality and basically all the Waifu material ends right into the “Dangerously female protagonist” but I lost the link (The one with Edward Vancleef as the most evil because he’s a union member).

This is interesting, a free unique sounding mount for anyone who has Shadowlands during Q1 2021.

(wandering ancient/soaring spelltome gang)

Ancient, easily.

Tome sounds cool and all but it feels mostly like a mage mount and mages are already spoiled for options with their gorgeous class mount and flying carpets.

Meanwhile there’s nothing remotely like the ancient available. Imagine the RP potential of that thing for Night Elf players and guilds.

Throwing my vote for the ancient. Just seems like the coolest option compared to the other ones.

Please vote Wandering Ancient for the love of Elune (Nerubian votes are okay too, rest gtfo)

The Ancient and Tome mounts are both unique and something that we don’t have a mount option, I’m delighted with both but I’m personally leaning towards the Ancient over Tome because having an ancient as a mount just sounds awesome.

I expect the Nerubian option is just going to be one of those flying types of Nerubian, too similar to BFA’s blood beast mounts (the one from Talanji’s rep + a world drop in Nazmir), if it’s like a proper spider/crypt lord type of Nerubian however, that’s great.

The caterpillar one sounds unique (though we’re getting a few caterpillar-like mounts in the Gorm in SL), but it’s not too interesting compared to the other choices imo.

We have like, 20 different sabers/cat mounts already, we don’t need another one.

The cynical part of me says that the ancient will probably just be a wood version of the infernal mount from Legion and not move in a very tree-like manner at all, and that it will probably shrink the player greatly instead of being particularly large itself.

The rest of me says it is worth the risk. #voteancient

At first first I was like ‘‘DAMN NERUBIAN’’ but ideally it is just a reskin of the Blood Flier in Nazmir so it wont be as unique.

So I am going with the Ancient one both due to the concept is cool but also for the RP value from it.

It was between Ancient and Nerubian for me, and the idea of something more Night Elf like was just too good.

Would love to see non-2004 era Spiderboys/girls too, though. Or just, y’know, update all old mobs to 2020 standard justsaying >_>
