Actualyl it would be cool to explore the Elven culture a bit more and have some cool little lore there is a social bias/stigma toward smaller ear size - not a half-elven thing, regular elves with shorter than usual ears, for example evolutinary adaptation; colder climate means your ears freeze off… shorter ears are better for “mountain elves”/arctic elves - but the civilized Quel’talas “pure bloods” frowns uppon their tundra-cousins, or similar thing
Hmm, suppose we shall see then…
I like this change a lot, honestly, and I hope we can give them shorter eyebrows too. Or at least just stop them poking out of helmets.
Please. I beg you.
Yeah, I really want round ears and short eyebrows for my Belves. Maybe non-glow-in-the-dark-eyes aswell.
I don’t want to play a belf that looks like the equivalent of a human, just one that doesn’t have silly clipping issues. I prefer them with the long ears, personally, or maybe the medium ones.
Are you really playing WoW if you don’t have clipping issues? Philistines.
This. Especially since we have use for these necklaces in lore (e.g. black and red falcon shaped metal pendant… )
The fact that we got potential “body jewelery” before necklaces or even ear piercings for males is super weird to me. Let alone the fact that the body jewelery seems more made for females, so perhaps it won’t be implemented for males.
okay you got me there
And to be fair I know the game is riddled with them anyway, just anything that reduces them is always welcome. Though they seem to be getting worse rather than better…
Lol look at these stumpy little ears. Do they make the heads look weird to anyone else?
Obligatory if can give blood elves boring short ears can give me (properly long) elf ears for my undead.
when’re they gonna add Forsaken [Every Race] honestly.
Yes please!
We already got Undead of every race!
New DK stuff looks pretty good. I just hope they balance 2h and DW properly, so that the weapon type used is but a cosmetic choice.
I have no expectations that they will balance them properly - after all, they never managed in the past - I just hope they will do SOMETHING.
Because by default DW has all the advantages and right now on alpha 2h has nothing to make up for it.
It’s extremely easy to fix, and they have plenty of time to do it. Feedback is pouring on both US and EU alpha forum.
In the past they couldn’t do it easily because each subspec had its own playstyle, with its own passives and weapon scaling. All of that is gone now, so all they have to do is fix the runeforge issue and balance the procs from the talents, and then both subspecs will basically just be a cosmetic choice.
At this point they should just add a color wheel for eye color.
Yep. For immersion purposes, I personally deleted my hearthstone back in MoP after reaching Pandaria, and didn’t leave the continent at all before unlocking the Vale. It’s even weirder in Draenor, where we’re supposedly stranded with a skeleton crew after destroying the Dark Portal, but nope, very soon you visit Ashran and somehow your faction has already erected a fully functional base complete with portals to all their capitals.
I mean 2 seconds after the intro scenario dadgar opened a portal to Azeroth for builders…
So we weren’t really stranded
For what it’s worth, I don’t think quest lines take place in real time.
Shadowlands is the fashion expansion.
Honestly, I don’t think Shadowlands will have much content at max level. But I do hope that what little content there is will be fun, engaging and rewarding.
I’m in a weird position on the Shadowlands lore.
I think the world itself looks interesting and I think the factions seem neat, but I really hate what its existence does to the lore of Azeroth.
Bit of a frustrating one.
Yeah I feel the same way. But ultimately I think that the negatives far outweigh the positives.
It’s hard for me to get invested in any of it.
