How the hell is this addon allowed?
As a rogue this is completely ruining the game for me. Why is this allowed?
I can’t engage in pvp with anyone anymore. Its completely ruined the stealth mechanic.

Yeah, sorry but I feel like if you don’t make any noise then certainly no one will hear.
@Tabs What’s the point in being in stealth if everyone is alerted to you being nearby? Okay you can get picky about the word “completely” if you want. Yes I can stealth and not be seen from a distance but this addon is ruining my ability to be near anyone without them knowing, which is ridiculous, no?

Another zero skill rogue that doesn’t understand how Spy works. You want a Blizzard dev to come hold your hand while you play next? You’re already playing the easiest class to PvP with. Addons that did the exact same thing as Spy have existed since 2005. Get over it.

Everyone can be alerted about you going stealth nearby anyway, even without the addon, just like that: https://i.imgur.com/VHo84GT.png

Oh, you know who I am and how I play do you? Lol at you troll. Ironic that you think its cool to use a tool that takes ZERO SKILL to use so that you can get an advantage on other players.
Obviously something is wrong when hundreds of people are complaining about it and they even patch it to reduce the range, an admission that something isn’t fair.
Why should I have to adjust the way I play because of an add-on? You think it should be a part of the game that when I spot someone, I then have to run away from them a certain distance, enter stealth and then try and go back towards where they were to engage them just so that they don’t get alerted to my presence? By that time they are usually gone anyway. Don’t you think that this messes with the gameplay?
It’s all very well saying “well you can see it in the combat log” but that has nothing to do with it. Having an addon that scans information and relays it to you without you having to read the combat log for yourself is pathetic. That to me just makes something automatic, it’s a lazy tool for people that are too frightened or unskilled to play the game as it was meant to be, imo.
You can try and troll me or insult me or whatever that’s fine I don’t give a monkeys because you aren’t actually adding anything to this conversation.
I’m just airing my concerns for a game that I care about, that I pay to play and have invested a lot of time into. This is a forum for that sort of thing right?

Learn to adapt, addon has allready be nerfed, was there in 2005, and it’s still here now.
Coming from someone that doesn’t use Spy, but the combatlog itself. You’re next thing will be “Remove the combatlog”. Meh.
Then even stating ppl have to l2p? While you cannot seem to pay attention to 2 things on your screen at once.

The actual skilled rogues aren’t complaining, because they understand how to play around this addon. They figured that out 15 years ago, yes these addons were already around back then. If you can’t sneak up on someone without broadcasting yourself in the combat log, then you should probably choose another game to play.
And Blizzard patching the combat log says nothing. They do clueless stuff all the time. You’re talking about the company that thought 2 PvP servers would be enough for all of Europe. They should’ve never touched the combat log and given all you crybabies the finger. But for some reason Blizzard always seems to cater to the biggest noobs. That’s why retail is in the state it’s in and a 15 year old version of their game is more popular.
