But, even I think that the several occurrences of exploits leading to rapidly accelerated character and content progression - has been too significant of a problem for the launch to be considered a success.
In this world, Blizzard is god… just call it BETA 2, reset and relaunch on October 1st.
I’m an adult too, family, full time job, responsibilities no less than the next player, I’ve also invested all of my precious-little free time up to this point, but the game is now tainted and trivialised… which can be rectified, we just all need to make a sacrifice.
Blizzard, do it.

Yes, i don’t care if they do purge and we rollback to 28 August with all level 1. At this point, the game is broken.
Disable layering and make more servers. Who care if the server is empty ? If they are empty after 1 month, merge them. Every single month Blizzard should check all server state and merge if they are to low. I prefer empty server than layer exploit. If later the server is to big, offer free migration to lower populated realm with the same process (merge every month if it’s to low).
The real responsability should be this : Blizzard apologize, then they make an announcement that they will shutdown all server this week and make a new fresh start without all the exploitation on 1st October or something like that.
But we all know they will never do that because lot of people will cry “I lost my golds, i lost my level 60, i lost my X, i lost my time, i will not retry the game”. They play the game like if it’s a full-time job. And i’m like that, i have 12 days /played atm, it’s big. But after all, for the future, for TBC and more, i don’t care if i loose that.
But it’s more a dream than a reality, in the reality, they will just ban the exploiter and let the game continue. Because it’s easier and 0-risk to get whiner / subscription loose.
Fine but, you get the point.
They kept lying on the playerbase, changed some things and putting new ones without player consent, ended up breaking the game. It even have a Lots of new bugs that wasnt there.
each day everything new appears, bug or exploit, they are slow as hell and do not move anything. its too much to accept for me. i was having a good time but this is way too much and they dont move a finger.
This kind of stuff doesnt deserve to be paid at all and its an awful treatment for the customer.

I have 2 children (one almost 5 years old and one almost 4 weeks old) and a full time job - its taken me this long just to hit 20 (which was fully expected) but… if I had to start back to level 1, I would probably just quit now and ask Blizzard for a refund for the past months sub as it would have been wasted.

They’d be mad to roll back all the servers with so many people being innocent. The amount of backlash from it would kill Classic.
Ban the offenders, remove layers and find a way to balance factions. Just put a stop on a faction if they become too prevalent. On some servers, this is mainly due to the streamers all being on one faction (looking at you Shazzrah).
Blizz really need to put their foot down with balancing. If some people cry, let them - the greater good trumps the personal preference of a few people. The time of pandering to each complaint has to end.

Damn blizzard for not throwing millions of people’s weeks worth of gameplay into the trashcan to appease a group of vocal nolifes that literally have nothing going on in their life other than wow classic
they should freeze the game one week and fix EVERYTHING, implement their bloody shetty layering and dinamic spawn better on classic (starting zones) and ban everobody or reroll lvl 1 people who abused layering in the slightest.
1 free month for everybody because of playing a beta.

Deleting everything we’ve all worked toward would be madness. I’ve spent basically all my free time playing this since release day. If I’m not at work, eating or walking the dogs then I’m playing classic. I’ve got 7 days 9 hours on my rogue and 12 hours on a druid alt. I don’t want to lose those.
That said, I agree something harsh needs to be done. Ban all offenders (or at the very least strip their characters naked and empty their bags and banks). And close the exploits.

After this dung/raid layering exploits, i just unsubed. Classic is in current state bloody mess.

You can not punish everyone for some peoples exploits. And by resetting entire WoW you would do that. And probably kill the entire game in the process. Because a lot of people will not start over again after so many hours spend already.
And who says that if they reset the game now, that they will not do it next month after another bug, and again in 6 months when the next exploit has been discovered?
The only way to go is discourage exploiting by making it clear they CAN actually see that you misbehaved and are actually punishing (perma ban) those who did. And not go soft on public figures that exploited (Streamers). Actually punishing those streamers (if they did exploit) would be the best signal they can give, because that would actually reach people. Banning unknown few players will hardly send a message.
People will think twice for abusing an exploit if everyone knows that they will lose their accounts.

Hard punishment to streamers wont happen. Dont forget that Blizz belongs to Activision, they care only about money and losing streamers isnt in their interest.

We still do not feel any effect of such exploits in my server.
I am glad I rerolled to a fresh server after queue drama. Only a handful of 60’s, no streamers and their followers. Free from a lot of this drama.
Though if “regular” people will get banned over this exploit, and streamers that have on video using this exploit too will no be banned, there will be hell breaking loose.

Preach got banned for a month because of the BFA experience potion exploit
At the very least I’d like a new server that you will never be able to server transfer to that is untainted from all the various exploits and abuse we had so far. Would be nice.
