its exactly what makes it problematic.
There even was an addon back in the day who would give you that info automatically.
Its no rocket science either way.
Its a bad sport though.
Effectively.
Like every other answer you get from a GM. I opened six tickets about a specific issue I was having and the first five responses I got were all repeating what I had said in each ticket.
I’d say more than a little - this will solve the issue almost entirely. There’s no point is doing syncing if your premade will end up on opposed sides half the time, and that’s assuming that Blizzard algorithm does not try to balance out groups between sides, which I believe it does - this would mean the premade will end up on opposite sides more than half the time.
This measure alone - crossfaction battlegrounds - is practically the death of queue syncing in my opinion.
As a 5 man group or queueing together with a friend at the same time, which makes no sense since you could just group up but whatever.
The GM had no idea about what we want to know from him and blizzard.
Simple…“We allow multiple full groups of 5 ppl to que at the same time on purpose with communication (text chat or voice, doesnt matter) to enter a bg with 10, 15 or even 20 ppl at the same time and create an unfair advantage over the enemy team, and with this disturbing the game experience for all random players on both sides.”
Not more not less, clear and simple, can you please for once finally understand this?
blizzard could do better by removing the " join battle" or " join arena" button entirely and force people to enter the battleground or arena automatically
We asked the GM for their latest POV on that question, he didn’t say queue-syncing is illegal in any form.
Again: You can be mad about it, but stop claiming it is against ToS or CoC. Blizzard has stated it is not. “Oh it is not entirely clear from that answer!” Well, then show me a single Blizzard statement where it is entirely clear that queue-syncing is, in fact, cheating, I will wait.
Yeah, it is. Like many things with this game. But it is not illegal (in contrast to the boosting groups in RBG and Arena…)
And, at the end of the day, it counts what Blizzard DOES. Namely not a single ban for queue-syncing in the last 20 years. Saneko, as Forum MVP, gave you already a good answer to the question:
As someONE else, NOT another FULL group of people or even more.
In this answer was NOTHING clear, except that he had ZERO idea abt the topic.
I’m since a long time not mad about it anymore, it is just annoying and boring that people STILL don’t understand the simple fact that there was no answer given to the problem we have here…
If you think for once logically abt the problem in relation to the ToS or CoC then YES, it is against it.
Idc about circumventing the group size or even that they use all the time voice chat ontop of it, the only problem is “creating an unfair advantage AND disturbing the game experience of all random players on both sides.”
This does stand in the ToS/CoC, so it would be against the “rules” or whatever…the GMs just don’t understand the problem in the first place.
And now please STOP trying to proof anything with GM answers or what blizzard did or not did yet, just THINK and UNDERSTAND logic.
Very bad example man, especially in epic bgs…both teams have almost always every class and specc on their side with every skill level represented.
IF on both sides would everytime play a synced epic premade (same size etc), then it would match to this comparison…which is not the case.
Nope, it is again simple logic, which “some people” here obviously refuse or are not able to understand.
It is a simple fact which is even written down by blizzard, since you always want to put credit towards that.
And again…I dont care for blizzards actions or want anyone banned, I want that you understand that this whole thing trying to proof anything here with a “GM answer” is nonsense.
How is it even possible to have a discussion with you when you don’t understand what has been written to you?
Those paragraphs you show DO NOT SAY it’s allowd. How can 2 lines like the ones below be an okay to syn’ced premades, beats me.
I queue up, my m8 queue up at the same time, of course it’s not against the rules to queue up,. It’s also not against the rules to be 5 people queueing up at the same time. There is NOTHING NEW in that . Those rules have existed in 20 years! So stop for the love of all good with the nonsense about that you were told it’s ok with FULL 40 man premade. How can it be that up in your head you think you got a carte blanche to a full 40 man premade?? You twist everything you were told and put your own imagination into what you would like the answers to have been - then AFTER that you have the nerve to call everyone else a clown 0.0
Geez start reading what is actually being said from a GM, Blizzard, CS or whoever that gave you yet ANOTHER wishy washy answer!
False. They never did.
They haven’t. And they also haven’t stated the opposite. So either way you look at it you won’t get and you didn’t get a clear answer. Good luck waiting, obviously Blizzard chose to not give a direct answer, but at this point I’m afraid you’re not capable of understanding that.
