I would love it if the level one characters in the game had the option to start at 20 if we wish.
Yeah I know there is party sync but still.
Wont happen, Shadowlands level squish will see everyone starting at lvl 1 - Allied race or not
Normal Races & Allied races = Lvl 1
Demon Hunters & Death Knights = Lvl 10

That’s incorrect.
Core Races, third war death knights and demon hunters will start level 1
Allied races and fourth war death knigths will start at level 10
Pretty sure this is wrong, im quite sure Ion or someone at Blizz stated that DH’s / DK’s starts at 10 during this year’s Blizzcon
This is so stupid, why?
At level 20 you have to get through the most boring and repetitive quests in the game, what a way to get even less new players.

I level some chars to 20 when I cancel my sub . So they are at least began in their development.

In BfA and previous expansions, the hero classes Death Knights and Demon Hunters began at advanced levels of 55 and 98 respectively. In Shadowlands, Death Knights and Demon Hunters will start at level 1 with everyone else.
Allied Races will begin at level 10 instead of level 20 and will have their choice to go to any of the 8 existing expansions. They will not be able to visit Exile’s Reach.

Thats so stupid, as the Fourth war DK’s starts at 55 as our current DK’s. now in BFA.
Agreed - for me they should all start at level 1 - 3rd war or 4th

Currently on PTR it’s 58, you still can’t create one but it show on top “New 58 | Class Trial 110”. It makes sense becaue it’s the level you can start doing outland or northrend and it’s the level death knigths get after finishing their starting zone.
Now for shadowlands changes, it makes sense. Everyone that will start at level 1 has a full on storyline for starting zone. Everyone that will start at level 10 has a starting zone with just one quest telling you do go to Stormwind/Orgrimmar and a portal to the city.
Normal starting zone is meant to get you up to level 10 while AR style of starting zone you just get out into the world right away. That’s why they will start at higher level because Blizzard didn’t wanted to implement full on story driven starting zones for them.
Wait so allied Races start at 58 as DK compare to 55 as Normal DK?.

If my friend makes an allied race and I make a level 1 that’s why.
What new player already has an allied race.
level 120 will start at level 50 and the reset scale.
Yes thats what max level or over level one characters will do but we are talking about new characters 
Nix that.
New players start in Exile’s Reach and level from 10 to 50 through BfA.
Experienced players can start in Exile’s Reach or normal starter zone, then level though any expack.
Allied races don’t have a starter area, so just being at 10.
