I personally would love to see new content rather then these freebies every 6 month’s how about cutting down sub cost in half instead if you gonna continue this route of content droughts, or actually do some new content that keeps the incentive to stay a sub like most players want.

Cosmetic stuff for money is more than fine. An acceptable source of money for the game. Important in-game services such as transfers should be cheaper, and no power-ups should be for sale, other than that they can sell pretty much what they want for whatever price they want.

If there was no way to convert gold into bnet balance and buy store stuff, I’d agree that in-game store is bad. But otherwise no, I’m completely fine with store mounts and transmogs.
I can pretty much buy store stuff with gold, and that’s good enough for me. Who wants to pay can pay, WoW has aged audience that has jobs/professions and money to spend.

What new content? You think creating a mount takes as much time as creating a dungeon or an expansion? Yeah you can have 1 new random mob model instead of a store mount. Wp I guess, much content.

While each and every time they “promoted” their new mount on youtube videos they collected a few million dislikes in total and a few million negative comments.

Eh what ? i don’t understand what point you are making.
How about having this cool new high quality set in, i dont know, trial of style event specifically for mogging? But what it rewards - several old crappy recolors.
What about the recruit a friend set, would have been cool for archaeology no? Too bad, you cant have it through gameplay.
Same with mounts, heart of aspect, fitting for dragon soul raid? Nah man, only pay to get it. WoD mounts? Recolors and recolors, shop? Unique mounts that would have fittted reputation rewards.
So as you can see it does directly affect reward structure of the game and devalue things that you can obtain with effort and gameplay.

You can’t really have new content instead of these store mount, because creating a mount model takes a LOT less time than creating any relevant content which lasts for more than 5 minutes.

Yeah, there are 600 mounts ingame, and maybe 25 of them are from the store. Also there are lots of hundreds of appereances for every item slots, and 1 of them is purchasable from the store.

Actually too many people care about it negatively. I really don’t mind it at all, having an additional transmog for my alts feels great! The game could overall use more account wide transmogs and visual updates for the game. BFA assortment feels lackluster. Argument that you should get it via in-game means does not relate to me personally, doing another meaningless 30 minute questline is the last thing I want to do in this game. They should totally improve on getting better looking items through raids, pvp, dungeons, but an addition of store cosmetics is also welcome in my book.

Yes there are, but how many of these mounts and mogs in game are recolors or poor quality compared to well made, high quality things in the shop. Im all for adding recolors to shop, but nothing unique or better than whats available in game.

I got nothing against shop items that are purely cosmetic, it’s optional, don’t like it don’t buy it. I do admit though that they could be cheaper, like almost half the amount they’re now.
Otherwise, it’s good business to the company. Now if they would start to sell gear that could give an advantage in-game, that would be a major no-no and I’m pretty sure they do get that.
I assume you need extra training to be this shallow.

Tokens give Blizzard almost double the amount of money than someone who just buys the mount or buys game time straight ahead.
Ofcourse Blizzard is delighted to see you players defend such a practise
