There are more shades to the problem, which OP addresses semi-correctly, than black and white. Blizzard is trying to design their content around way more audiences than they will ever be able to handle. It just doesnât work, not even from a mathematical standpoint, and especially not, when wowâs power systems change every expansion
Ah yes, the corruption system that had several different effects each with multiple tiers of strength that caused varying amounts of negative side-effects that you had to play around and could potentially kill you if not handled properly was much easier to understand than an on use item you use every 2 and a half minutes.
