Stop level 10 and 11 twinks

I understand a lot of people appreciate these players who build a twink in 24 hours and can level really fast with their busy hectic lifestyles by these level 10 and 11 twinks but I am finding them rather irritating, il explain:

  1. I play this game to PLAY not be carried if I wanted to be carried or boosted I would pay but being put into a group with these players is unfair
  2. most of them are rushing to last boss, and missing boss’ which drop tokens which are needed for the TW event, if you do say anything they kick you and say we don’t care as we want to level fast.
  3. then I am given a penalty due to lazy players who are wrecking my gameplay by their selfish own ways of being lazy and want the easy way

I pay to PLAY not be carried and if you do say anything they become little toxic brats, I want a challenge not be carried by some low level due to scaling one shotting everything, what is the point in playing a game if you are that lazy

I do appreciate it though that some people have commitments but what about the people who have the time but I do not appreciate being given a penalty for being a better player by not being lazy

The primary issue here is, as usual, not actually the twinks, but purely ego- and reward- driven players optimizing the fun out of every possible game mode if it saves them .0000000000000000000001 seconds.

It believe merely needs to be set up , and I´ve said this for years, so that in Timewalking /nhc /hc dungeon content all bosses must be killed or no completion reward will be given. rushing to the endboss for the quick kill and completion XP instantly becomes a thing of the past.

However, you expectiing a group of randomly selected players to play the way you want is just as egotistical as the tank that runs through to teh endboss… you are both guilty of expecting random people you have never metz and had no prior communication with to magically read your minds and play the way you expect them to.

And the only solution to that is to not PuG

true I guess, but as a gamer you would think other gamers would want to play not be boosted and have it easy as I said what is the point in playing? but I do understand what you mean and appreciate it…

there should be an option for quick play in pugs or do it normally without low level twinks and then getting a penalty by being kicked or refusing to be boosted as I want to play, is still unfair for proper non lazy gamers

I agree 100%, and it´s why I personally have issues with referrin g to WoW players as a whole as “gamers”, becasue even when I was still boosting people in MoP and Cata the sheer number of people with more gold than skill (much less any will to learn) was disgustingly high… Add on to that the shift in community ofver the past decqade towards ever more “Gimme free stuff!!!” and “I don´t wanna play to get rewards!”, and evil tongues such as mine “might” suggest that at best 50% of those engaged in organized content actually have any interest in participatijng in it, but just want the shinies because they think it gives them some sort of cred :beers:

I appreciate your feedback maybe il try to be more opened minded or as I do have time I’ll just take the penalty and put the low level twinks on ignore so hopefully I will not be grouped with them, might seem a bit hateful me doing that but I do want to PLAY the game the proper way

but thanks anyways  have a good morning or night depending where you are from

Don’t take the penalty, just let them finish and then ignore, why would you purposely lose 30 minutes of playtime when the dungeon will be done in 5?

true I just feel like I am cheating but no, fair comment I will do it that way, good suggestion

It’s neither your nor the twinks’ fault that blizz can’t do jack about balancing their own game. Just enjoy the ride and leave the group.

Have any of you wondered why they are there?

They are charging gold to boost people again

Please dont stop them Blizzard. Had a lvl 11 priest in Tbc Timewalking, he got me from 70 to like 76 in half an hour, i loved it.

If you dont like having one you are free to leave the dungeon or put them on ignore afterwards. The good part is that the run is over very quickly😂.
They are not breaking any rules, xp lock is a completely fine part of the game.

Now i will add that i am a fan of people like the priest i had in my group, who joined and went /yell ALL ABOARD THE HYPETRAIN, PLEASE FOLLOW ME, and then took off running, murdering everything in his path.
It is a bit more boring if one just joins, nukes the dungeon and leaves again i guess.

Yes they are. They are using a macro to join lfg with party members they are boosting. As shown in the link.

Ok cool but i didnt reply to you, i replied to OP. If someone is using a macro to circumvent the rules, ofcourse that should be stopped, but that comes down to actions imposed on individuals, not Twinks as a whole.

Did you really think those twinks were there to give free boosts?

The rule is that you can’t join with a twink with xp off as all will get the penalty. They use a macro to leave and rejoin group quickly so the penalty no longer applies.

Ofc it was

I really dont care about you or of you believe me though :joy:

Hence your reply?

I guess there will be those that defend them when it benefits them.

For most ppl, endgame content is the point of playing - leveling is just a nuisance and better done as soon as possible, so those twinks actually also help them to reach their goal faster. And well, even without lvl 11 chars, TW is so easy, you don’t actually have to play your char to do them; they are just a chore to be done to get where the fun starts; same for questing. They would need to implement different difficulty modes for the open world to make that part of the game fun for more than one playthrough.

I mean youre here denying my experience because it proved you are wrong.
Ofcourse if people are breaking rules, said people should be stopped. Point is that not all of them are.

It proved nothing.
