As far as I know, excessive corpse camping is against the rules.
Griefing is against the rules.
So why are there 100+ horde outside of every instance portal camping anybody that moves?
Last night it took 85 minutes to get from Thorium Point to BRD entrance portal for our party as the entire way was camped by Hordes.
No matter the time of day, there are at least 25 hordes camping the runup to ANY instance, and there is no way to avoid it.
Now this wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, other than you, Blizzard, designed a game where instances like UBRS exist… With the only useful drop for casters being from a Rare spawn mob named Jed… So this means groups have to constantly go out of the instance to reset and check for him, and each time they do, they die thanks to the horde campers.
How does this not count as “griefing”… ? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
if this corpse camping is against the rules then I make up stupid things too and say your post is against the rules. You chose to be on a pvp server, deal with it or change.
PvP, the V stands for “versus” there is no versus in 100v1, it’s gangrape.
And yes, griefing is against the rules. You’re not allowed to go out of your way to ruin somebody elses character playing experience. “Camping” counts as griefing. You should read the ToS that you agree to when you sign up, when people bring them up and expect them to be enforced you simply sound like a tool when you tell them to “not roll on a PvP server”.
There is a difference between PvP and being a douche for no reason and ruining people’s play experience.
To be fair no amount of gitting gud is going to make a ferociously outnumbered small group succeed.
It’s one thing to tell someone to go play on a pve server because that is legit advice or criticism, but telling someone to do the impossible is frankly dumb and mean.
Alliance are far superior hence why it takes 5+ Hordies to kill a single alliance player because that’s the only time they even have any chance. It just happened so that instance entrance camping lets them live out their zerging against any Alliance players they outnumber.
World pvp is part of the game here. If you are outnumbered, you get help, this is how big pvp battles happen.
I hate to be that guy, but if you don’t like this, go back to BfA where you can hop on your flying mount and get out of danger as soon as you get killed.
Btw, corpse camping is not punishable. A major point of world pvp is to hinder the other faction. It is WARcraft. Alliance and Horde are at WAR.
You could have rolled on a PvE server if you dind’t want to get killed by the enemy faction.
So many people seem to have some idealized view of world pvp with 1v1 duels and honor or some gobelygook, when the reality has always been that people will gank up on smaller groups and unbalanced servers are a hell to play on.
If some player stalks you and killing you every minute not allowing you to play for weeks, yes, it’s against the rules. Camping someone or something for few hours is not against the rules.
