Stop people camping instance entrances

To take pleasure in another’s misfortune is basic human nature. Why deny our humanity to pretend like we’re holier than thou?

PvP server = Prison rules.

The strong gang up and prey on the weak. Do some soul searching now, because phase 2 is coming in hard.

Honestly, at least at Zandalar Tribe, most people are super chill.

I am currently level 36 and leveling in STV, and most of the time Horde and Alliance just level side by side in peace.

Its always a small group of high level players that come and start to slaughter, and then babble something about “Thats pvp” and sh*t, when it fact its just griefing.

The second these people go away, its really peacefull, and Alliance and Horde player even help each other out some times. Had a Human Warrior taunt some mobs that aggroed me away just yesterday, even though they were tagged to me because of my shadow shield damage…

I think its amazing, i die alot every day the server is filled with world pvp, but i also give payback and kill alot of horde myself.

Cant wait for phase 2, the golden age of classic is coming.

I just hope you are trolling, because if you really feel like bringing misfortune to others is your nature, you should find a goo therapist right away before its too late…

I made the run from Ratchet to Desolace yesterday and pretty much slaughtered every lowbie Horde on the way. Never went out my way to do it, just if they were in my path. I also laugh when I see people fall in public.

Should they put me in a padded cell!?

My personal experience with ganking is that it always just feels like someone stronger, higher, better geared is picking on you. However I also think it’s what you should expect if you sign up on a PvP realm. I hated being corpse camped and not being able to get on with things in the game because of other players.

Some players love that extra sense of danger, having to not only take into account the mobs they are attacking but the risk that they might be attacked and have to deal with the opposite faction.

I have saved some Alliance from death in my day to day levelling and vice versa. Some will watch you die, others will jump in and help. It’s always nice to see.

No, that just makes you a bad human being.

If you read my previous post again, you will notice I never talked about people who just nuke a lowie who happens to cross their path while they do normal gameplay, I talked about people who intentionally camp low level questing zones with the sole intent of preventing people from playing the game.

Srsly you have to take good and bad pvp experiences as they are or roll to PVE realm. I’ve suffered camping, hordes ganking our party mate over and over on the way to SFK, but not once did I have a thought to cry in the forums about it.

I wouldn’t do that.

Not because it’s morally reprehensible, it’s just too much effort.

Why did you roll on a pvp server?

When you need to get X of item from mob Y, you don’t stand there waiting for the nice paladin to finish up - no you murderise him, repeatedly if needed until he sods off and leaves the mobs to you.

Hopefully he then returns with friends, because that is what a PvP server is about. Not hippies holding hands and helping each other out.

Makes me sick

We laugh at what seems funny, except it is not funny when really bad things happen to people.

In terms of gameplay, ganking low levels or 100 vs 1 is not funny.

To the OP: Why on earth did you roll on a PvP server?

Actually, I do. Because i’m a better person and preferring to be friendly even on a pvp realm.
Killing for the sake of killing (as you dont get HKs from it yet) is just toxic

Endgame PvP mostly.

Plus I like the social experiment thing, and up to now I am really pleased. Like I said, most Alliance players I met were decent human beings and so were most hordes.
Seeing players who could attack each other help each other out instead makes me happy.

And noticing that its only small groups of a**holes that always start the slaughtering also makes me feel good, because that means that most players are good people.

Why would you roll on a PvP server just to be nice to the opposing faction? You are a closet PvE player.

It’s
a. fun
b. I get to finish my kill/drop quest faster
c. makes the world seem like a more dangerous place

I literally just explained that in the post you are quoting…

And by that you mean battlegrounds no doubt.

So I ask again why not PvE ?

Alot of people here complainging about the PvP aspects of the game and tossing around words like “toxic” as a label for those who enjoy doing pvp while leveling…

I mean honestly they made server just for you, why not play there? oO

Which is ironic, because people who think of themself as higher and more important than others to the point where they are willing to push them down or even hurt (or worse) others to get what they want are the main reason why the real world is dangerous in the first place…

It can have nothing to do with it being an entrance to a dungeon and they are just waiting for party/members?
