Meanwhile, it’s becoming unplayable on Firemaw. Between 5pm and midnight you can hardly use the Auction House. There are already 3 layers open, what will happen when WotlK is released? Queues in the five-digit range?
It’s time Blizzard stopped the server transfer to Firemaw immediately. Hundreds of Allinaz players are now joining Firemaw every week. The faction ratio has long since tilted. It has gone from 50-50 to 60A-40H in the meantime.
It’s kinda the issue, when there’s pretty much only two alliance realms to transfer to.
Earthshaker or Firemaw.
Firemaw has horde at least, so most will pick that over Earthshaker.(Otherwise you might as well pick the PvE realm)
We’ll likely just have 2-3 mega “PvP” servers eventually.
They should prevent the skewing by freezing transfers temporarily to dominant population faction. They should do this now before more alliance morons decide to transfer on Firemaw.
Why they would stop it? Like who is crying now the guys who already paid their transfer there and now they dont want others to do the same? They will milk you as long you will give milk. 15 years old game mate, they know their stuff, even poeple know their stuff but they are too weak to resist to not give milk their indie company.
well it is strange that golemagg was one of the original megaservers (one of the 2 original PvP realms) and now it feels deserted and looking at IF pro it is. At least there is still playable population for alliance, it would be pain to transfer out.
Just for your information. That happened every week starting from like week 4 of tbc. I play on firemaw and there was many servers who transferred there in droves like Noggenfogger / Skullflame / Razorfen / Mograine and more alliance wise. Its nothing new and yet it never got closed.
Should have capped the servers at 2 layers and added queues beyond that … now it’s too late … it’s an absolute mess. The only salvation is to add the modern AH … everyone is using AH addons anyway
