I donât like hearing of anyone losing their job but that GM has demonstrated that heâs unfit to carry out his duties in an impartial and fair manner. I would think his actions would come under the heading of gross misconduct which in most companies would see the perpetrator handed his P45 and swiftly shown the exit,
I tend to agree with Bagdawg, it is sad to hear of anybody losing their job, but if they have misused their position of authority then yes I can see that a punishment is justified.
You mention forums and what I personally hate is bullying on the forums. I recently also spoke out in your defence, as in my view you made a reasonable post and were instantly trolled by people who were not interested in commenting on the question you posted, but imo just wanted to discredit you. I still stand by what I said in that thread although I know not all will agree.
What I really dislike though is this âtheoryâ that the same thing is happening on the forums as attributed to that which happened for this streamer and the GM. This streamer incident was obviously investigated and there was evidence I assume for the actions taken.
So if you truly believe there is some sort of abuse on the forums, then I assume you have or can find evidence to support this? If so why not collate as much of it as you can and forward it to the relevant people who I am sure will investigate.
"To provide feedback on the performance of the community team, forum moderators, or MVPs, please email wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.
I have said this before, I do not believe any Moderator on the forums would show bias knowing that in doing so they risk their job.
So basically for me it comes down to âput up or shut upâ silly phrase I know but it does fit so well
If you have such evidence and are proven correct in your âtheoryâ I promise you I will be one of the first to apologise for doubting you.
I just donât want you to misunderstand me, I personally do not see any favouritism. I can argue/debate with anybody on the forums and I have done so in the past, yet I have never received a silence or a ban during my time of posting. Did I never then debate with people who favour Blizz? I also know for a fact I have been criticial over some of the things Blizz plan/planned, yet again I have never had a post/thread deleted (unless I requested it) or received any punishment.
I defended you when I thought you were being bullied, it is only fair that I state that I believe you have bullied many people over the last few months, doing exactly the same thing to them, trolling their posts with insults against horde players and belfs in particular, check my avatar again
I guess what I am trying to say is if you keep posting silly âslogansâ like blizz shills or other any other insults/slogans for which you are well known, why would you expect people to take you seriously? If you start with insults what do you really expect back?
And that is why I am saying âput up or shut upâ.
I donât dislike you personally Retributor, but I do dislike a lot of your posts.
There are a lot of digs like this IMO from Retri, the karma farming insults, shills, insinuating people are somehow connected etc etc, when all people are doing is using the reporting tools on the forums. I donât agree with all the posts that are flagged, I think itâs unhelpful to flag things that arenât reportable. It slows down the actual rule breaking posts from being dealt with more quickly.
There is no conspiracy of not being able to criticise Blizzard or post opposing views to others, itâs the manner in which people do it. If you circumvent the language filter or tell someone to go end their life then yes you are going to get into trouble.
I think some people find it hard to deal with differing opinions, I can still like someone if they donât share my view.
I agree Puny, I have never said otherwise. I will also point out for Retributor that I have also debated with yourself on issues where we flat out disagreed with each other, I did not receive a silence or ban for debating with an MVP.
I too donât mind a difference of opinion, I just believe that people need to realise that it is not their view that is the problem, but their manner of posting.
I have liked Retriâs posts from time to time if he makes a point I agree with or said something funny that isnât being snide to others.
I honestly think the best approach is ignore the name of the poster and read the comment in itâs own right
And yes we donât agree, I canât remember if itâs Saeryn or Lynlia, we frequenly disagree about most things but I think they are both valuable posters
