I just wanted to hear some opinions if stronghold gautlets + crusader are worth it, compared to weapon chain + better gloves? ofc for PvP not PvE. I would love to know what both MS warriors or paladins think
I heard that paladins might use gauntlets with icy chill on weapon to sometimes catch up to people that they are whacking for 400 white damage 
well 400 white damge is enough if u got enough of them at once

That would depend on the rest of your stat. If you got a descent crit% and the 5% hit.
I use the stronghold, so i can benefit the crusader proc with 100 str. As you know 1str = 2 AP, so with crusader proc you get +200 AP. If you also got the Untamed Blade for PVP, you get a 300str+ proc. Which will get you 600AP more.
But of course, you choose what you feel gives you the best benefit.

yeah that’s also what I went for. I was mostly just wondering if the meta had changed because I see so few warriors/pallys with either deathgrips/stronghold , and I wondered if it isn’t optimal anymore
I powerfarmed ab rep with my pally on ret/reckoning in 2 weeks time, and I got disarmed a handful of times only. Don’t think it worth it, it’s good to have but not essential, as full ret you are not a real threat , on reck you smash their face but so little ppl talent that way they really unexpect it.
Different experiences then as I played Ret in 40-49 and I was continuously disarmed on CD.

As a ret paladin you won’t really need either. Start of groups fights with your healing gear equipped, then in for example fights where you are about to run down the EFC, or just wipe a small group of people you can switch to your ret gear.
As a warrior, your main source of dmg is from your weapon and enrage proccs.
Use chains if you not using the 2h in pve.
Crusader rng is worthless in pvp.
Most people are just bad.
Stronghold and crusader are the way to go.
Crusader has saved my life countless times, where i would’ve died otherwise.
