A few days ago I decided to give Cata a chance… just to realize all my chars are on a dead server. It seems there have been free character transfers before release. But they are not available at the moment. Did I just waist 13 Euro for a month playtime? I’m surely not spending 90 Euro or so to transfere my chars again (what I already did in wotlk, because the old realm was dead, too).
Any ideas?

What realm you on? Look at transferlist here:
If you lucky your realm up for closing. so at least characters will be mowe when realm close down - date not known.
Hello Krupskaya did you sort this? I had the same issue. If you go the the Shop option in the character selection screen, there should be and free character transfer option. This is what i did, hopfully it works for you.
