hasnt that account been inactive for like 3 years

Still stuck on retrieving character list here too.
EU player only, live in Europe.
Logged out when the server shutdown messages appeared ingame & tried to log back in an hour later when maintenence was due to end. Been trying regularly since.

For reference: the maintenance sign still appears in the launcher.

nice, first response after 5 freaking hours. And still no fix.

So what we can gather is:
People have the patch: 11.2.7.64877 (before this, it was working fine and I was just working on building a custom guitar for my house)
People have the epic expansion pre-purchase/Beta
People’s region was switched in Bnet app from EU to US (but switching that back didn’t change a thing)
A few days ago there was also a weird new setting in the Bnet app, that made harddrives literally lock up while the app was loaded.

I play 70 chars across various EU realms, and cannot log in to either. (The Chars are visible on the realms in the realm list, i.e. you can see how many chars are on each server - but they cannot be accessed, because the realm list can’t be retrieved - and seems stuck at 75-80% in a semi-translucent bar on top of the login screen of the game.

I don’t know what you did to break this, and I don’t know how to fix it (maybe reverse the most recent patch or something, as there were literally no issues before that) and/or if you apply a new patch, make SURE all the locales etc. are set to the correct regions that the players are actually playing on.

Oh and; restarting game/PC/Internet did not help, neither did deleting WTF folder or any other “suggested” fixes nor “scan and repair”. (And in reality, it is never a problem with those anyways, it is always some server side garbage that you put there somehow, so that SOME of us cannot connect).

If it helps, also been using this account since original vanilla, so maybe it’s yet another issue related to old accounts that have and did almost everything.

Its fine that they are repairing the game and make it unavaible a while but they could at least write when they suppose they have it up and running again

I don’t have prepurchase, my region was not switched, this account is two years old, other than that everything else you say is correct

i just logged in on an other account on which i didn’t have auto update, and it just worked find so its the update today

Well, it’s now over 5 hours since it was suppose to be “up and running” what would be nice is acknowledgement and not just a “ it’s a player issue not a blizz issue”

and other people who pre-ordered only the medium sized edition can log in. :frowning: not fair!
