Stuck on Retrieving Character List screen

I either got lucky or my acc just got fixed.
All my characters are back and I did no changes excpet chekcing for updates wich none were available.

Our engineers are consuming coffee at a rate that will probably cause them a heart attack very soon, all in an effort to make sure the issue is resolved as quickly as possible.

But all that caffeine still can’t get them to predict exactly how much time it will take

I still can’t get past the retrieving character list thing. And I did pay for 30 days of game time so will I get the time I am not able to play because of this issue back?

Yep I have this problem - EU Argent Dawn. Since maintenance black retrieving characters screen nothing clickable. Need to shut it down through Task Manager…

I wish that was true, but they choose to play Life: The Game in the Hardcore servers, so they’ll just end up hunting the WoW datacenters as ghosts instead of respawning

And believe me, you don’t want a bunch of caffeinated ghosts running around your datacenters…

Not the fault of one of the few actual living GMs we still get responses from. You can express your frustration without taking it out on a CS rep trying to provide some levity.
