Stuck with broken items :(

I just tried Classic this morning and after some leveling , Im stuck! (maybe forever?)

All my items are red (broken) now and I cant afford a repair.

The quests gives you just a few Copper for reward but the repair of the gray items costs you Silvers. Is there a fast solution for this or I have to fight mobs with my fists for hours just to get some Copper curency?

sounds like the usual classic lvl experience
im pretty sure someone would help you out

Thats why i got 2 mains

If one is screwed i can use the other :joy:

How? Even the lowest level vendor trash in the starting area drops weapons and loot that adds up to a silver in a few minutes. Remember you can repair single items instead of your whole set.

I’d ask what realm you are on to help but most of your posts are trolling or just plain angry so I won’t.

@Kaloyan: Very much this. Specifically, repair (or temporarily replace) your weapon as the first item… If you get a weapon drop you can use, equip that temporarily, it cuts out most of “empty handed” fighting.

At level 20, you will easily crush for example the bandits just outside SW gate with your bare hand and they tend to drop weak weapons and armour that you can “exploit” to re-gear and repair.

EDIT: Uupsie, just noticed that you are not posting on a classic character, so you are probably not level 20 yet. Even so, aside from the “easy” part, what Cabbagestew and I said, still applies.

Its look like a troll thread, but its really not. I just uninstall the game because of the lack of currency to repair my items. And I found out there is no ship to Stormwind from Darnassus

PS: How can I post with my Classic character? I only see my Retails.

There is a quick way, you go over a mountain near brackenwall village near ironforge, then ress at a graveyard and walk the short distance to methenil, at least to get from stormwind to darnassus, the other way takes a long time.

Classic characters have to be over 10 to post. If they are try logging out of the forums and back in.

If you want real sugesstion… you have to collect and sell all greys you collect at first few levels… also prioritize repairing your weapon, armor is mostly useless anyway prio lvl 12-13… and try not to ress at spirit healer all the time… about boat yes, that is the harder part… makes it bit challenging and fun tho;)

Also you need to put all the greens you get on the AH, vendoring them is a waste.

You also don’t need to buy all the skills when you reach an even level. Some can be skipped.

time to strip naked and dance for money in a capitol city.
if you are really in that deep water and let people know you are so god damn poor as to not being able to afford repairs, there’s someone willing to take pity on you 9 out of 10 times. they might even take so much pity on you as to give you a whole gold piece or more.

Yep… That was my mistake. I spent my silver for skills at level 4-5.

Ill give Classic one more chance :) Ill start again with a new char.

When u decide to reroll… Come eartshaker and roll the horde.
ILL trow you some coins, bags little gear.

P. ‘s.
I advise u to try everything you’re self, because thats actualy the fun part (i would swap my 15year exp with u in A heart eat)
But you tube…’ wow classic mistakes beginners make’. This atleast save you from some useless headache like this

It seems like you failed that character:p When I was completely brand new to the game, I got stuck in the tree at the Nelf starting area and had to restart.

As bad as it sounds. if you do get really stuck, surely one person will give you 1g? Unless your server is full of tight fists lol

Isn’t that a horde town in dustwallow marsh though? Actually there is a fast(ter) way to get from Darnasus to SW, you can just swim a little bit south of menethil harbor till you hit a little bay and zone in dun morogh, drown yourself and rezz on the other side.

Yeah it is, I meant Brewnall Village.

I didn’t know that, I may try it one day.

there is both fast and slow solution . fast is to always carry at least 1 spare weapon in inventory and swap.

slow solution - classic is old school mmorpg . meaning quests are there mainly as guidance - you are supposed to grind easy mobs till your eyes bleed - collect stuff and sell in town nearby

boring ? yes like hell.

thats why blizzard brought token to china but for some reason didnt activate it yet in EU.
