Yep, seems so. They have no clue what they messed up, hence the silence.

I’ve had this problem for years, random huge fps drops that make it impossible to do anything for a few seconds. Maybe now that more people suddenly have it they’ll focus on it.

can u link pls us forums

We all know by the speed they try to push out DF that:
season 1 = live beta test.
season 2 = release xpack and bugfixing.
season 3 (and 4) is playable.

If they don’t fix it by that time, I doubt there will be lots of players playing

I expect Df to be a testing ground for the new dev team and the next xpack to be a banger.
IF they decide to continue with the “new” systems.

Talents, Dragonriding are stuff you implement in a big patch imo, not an xpack launch :man_shrugging:

They don’t have a choice, if DF is not a banger probably WoW will loose his entire playerbase. We got 2 xpacs that was awful in a row - BfA, SL. Now DF has to be a redeemer, otherwise everything is doomed.

Well they released brand new talent system in MoP and it went pretty good. But hey, they was still the old Dev team… now we are in hands of people that obviously doesn’t have a clue how this game works anymore.

We had Cata, MoP, WoD and Legion before.
I concider these 4 worse then BFA and SL :man_shrugging:

WoD had a little light bieing good raids. That’s about it.

Not many will agree with you, maybe you just like bad expansions.

You are probably the first and the last one that I’ve heard saying this… MoP and Legion were awesome expansions, ofcourse it is to the personal preference but as you see BfA and SL had the worst reputation, SL even got ranked as the worst expansion ever.

The worst one ever I find MoP.
I am allergic too anything “Bug” related that scares me, like giant flipping grasshoppers.
The zones were very pretty and pleasant though…

2nd worse one is actually Wotlk for me, because it littarly had nothing to do after a month off gameplay. I am not a person to enjoy creating 10 alts and repeating the same content :man_shrugging:

Shadowlands is actually one off the xpack’s I actually played the longest without quitting, I quit in season 4 because off the Raids/M+ revamp fiasco (have little faith in DF improving this, sadly).

If it wasn’t for the entire Essence nonesense I had to go to Nazjatar and Mechagon for (oh my god my blood boils instantly) I’d rate BFA top 3 off my fav xpacks.

People are very hard on both BFA and Shadowlands. Everyone sings the praises of Legion but it was a hot mess until the .1 patch hit.

BFA wasn’t terrible, nor was Shadowlands. Castle Nathria was an excellent raid in many ways. I think the issue is that the ‘new shiny’ in Legion of Borrowed Power became entrenched and, with hindsight, shouldn’t have. It’s very frustrating to work hard for a power, get used to it and then have it all taken away because reasons.

The main problem with DF at the moment is, really, it is not polished enough and not ready for release, but that isn’t stopping Blizzard. The talent trees are very buggy and there are many well documented cases of talents that simply do not work across all classes. Similarly, the stuttering that some players are clearly experiencing is something that seems is not going to be fixed.

All of these problems were in the Beta and they were all reported to Blizzard months ago. None of them should come as a surprise to anyone. I’m lucky in that I don’t get stuttering now but I do have issues with very bad ‘pop in’ where objects close by suddenly appear. There doesn’t seem any reason for it and this is in zones where it didn’t happen prior to the 10.0 update. It doesn’t make the game unplayable for me, although I can well believe for some people it’s a dismal experience, but I wonder about raids in DF and whether those are going to be workable or not.

Dont say you dont have stutters, say you dont notice them because you are used to play with erratic frametime, only people that play with vsync/gsync and high refresh rates feel them , when you show me a flat frametime line running around in oribos on a busy realm (not a realm with 2 players in the city) i believe you.

Before the patch there was no spikes in my frametime graph i had a straight smooth line with 0 spikes, and after the patch looks like a heartbeat.

All other games are fine(kingdom hearts 3 ,days gone,witcher 3,cs go,metal gear phantom pain,final fantasy 10,12,7remake,and online,forza 5 ,gta v,lineage 2,including wow classic.

All my games run a flat frametime with fixed 280 fps on a 280 hertz monitor.

Only wow has frametime stutters everytime a player pops in your shard.

Also the trees objects etc got a nerf in max distance, they now pop in closer but that for me is not game breaker, stutters during rated pvp, soaring at 600% speed ,is.

I don’t have stutters. I am happy playing at 60fps and it is locked. If I don’t notice them, well, that’s fine.

Not everyone has stutters. You have an attitude that stinks. Not everyone has that, either.

Then like i said, when you show me a flat frametime of 16.6 ms ( since you play at 60 fps) running around in oribus on a busy realm,i believe you.

I say oribos because its a place where many players spawn and thats where the problem in the game is,a stutter everytime a player spawns near.that didnt happen prior to patch.

Yes, only about thousands of players that report it everyday on in-game tradechat and forums  that’s certainly not enough for blizzard to fix it or at least to post a blue if they are working on it. You have to be ignorant af to ignore this issue and say stuff about “I am good playing like that or whatever the f.” Also as @Voidsteel said, show us stable fps going through cities or even crowded zones without spikes or stutterings and then we will believe your delusional stuff.

so why not prove it to him ?
i agree that u may not notice them, but for those which had a smooth experience this is bad

Last week was kinda bad but for the last hour since I logged in today…omg…sometimes stuff would freeze by merely alt tabbing. I would have been checking my graphics drivers if it wasnt for the fact that no other game I tried running has had anything different in their performance.

Im getting freezes my self like full system freezes, if seen other users report it as well while not having in other games, personally haven’t tested yet if its exclusive to wow, seems flickering issue may be back for Nvidia users as well and if i remember correctly clearing shader cache fixed that, but the result is shaders being recompiled all the time and that causes stuttering.

Im getting a bit frustated if my issue is also wow related and i have no system freezes outside wow im strongly considering contacting blizzard for full refund of the expansion as well as 1 year subscription as i did not plan to play a game that just fully freezes entire system, but as long if not confirmed it to be exclusive to wow i will keep looking until i find out what hardware is failing for me if failing at all.
