Subscription renewed but still showing as expired

Good to know that I’m not alone on this, but kinda weird that it takes so long for them to actually fix it.

Does anyone know if activating a game time card instead of paying directly will bypass the problem?

it will not work, tried a 60day gamecard and same problem as i got with the creditcard

Not sure I understand properly, but if you mean you need 1 day gametime in order to purchase a token from the Auction House, you should be able to do that from the character login screen providing you have enough gold on the realm.

Im waithing from yesterday to get game time i dont know where is problem. I only know that blizzard took my money

It can take up to 24 hours for all restrictions to be removed. If after 24 hours you still don’t have access to all features, then check your transaction history:

If you don’t see your transaction listed there, then your bank declined the transaction, and the money will probably be returned to your account in a few days.

If you need more information, keep in mind that Blizzard cannot discuss accounts, or payments over the forums, and you will have to make a ticket to speak with a GM.

Seems my credit card provider blocked the transaction, even though they have added extra security by sending a text with a pass code.
Tried the next day and it went through fine.

For me it shows that i have a few hrs left on my game time but in-game it shows inactive.
Also my order does not appear on my transaction history but money was deducted from my bank account.

No it wasn’t, it was ring-fenced. That means, marked so that you cannot spend it a second time. It’s still actually in your bank.

How this works is when you start a transaction, the vendor (in this case Blizzard) informs your bank that there is a transaction for amount.

Your bank then marks amount in your account, in order to stop it being spent elsewhere while the transaction progresses.

Your end of the transaction completes. and the vendor says “Okay, send us the money now”.but for some reason, your bank says “no”.

The vendor does not get the money transferred over to them, but the money remains “marked” and therefore unavailable to you.

As a security measure the bank retains that amount in the “ring fence” for up to 28 days, before releasing it back to you.

Usually its released from the ring-fence a lot faster than that, usually within hours. But it can take up to 28 days. Theres no point in beating Blizzard about it, they don’t have your money. The bank does.

i just had the same problem a few hours ago. paid with credit card via desktop app. and suspected due to not shown in history, than contacted with GM and he/she suggested me to repeat process because of missing transaction record. i did it again and recorded transaction number this time and bammm. no transaction in history again. re-opened the ticket, provided number as proof and GM told me to wait end of current subscription. once it was over, i was disconnected and gametime still looks like expired. I shop internationally all the time and when the money is withdrawn and seen in the bank system, so far the transaction has gone smoothly
