No this won’t happen at all. All transactions will be taken outside of WoW. No gold trades because that is Blizzard’s jurisdiction.

It does not matter, buying gold is against TOS , bots are against TOS and because they cant deal with any of that … they are now banning a way of loot distribution that was NOT against TOS.
You cant ban or do ANYTHING against irl cash and u cant even prove that it happened.
What they did is to be sure no gold will be traded for gear and devalue the in game currency.
They cant prevent ppl paying with visa for items at all.
The ONLY possible way is to implement personal loot. Everything else is just to make ppl like you stop crying and in game chat with 0 gdkp offers, but to think this is somehow ending ppl paying for gear is straight delusional unless as i said they are talking about personal loot here.

I’m not defending GDKP’s I just don’t think they actually affect you. If you never saw a message in general or trade chat about a GDKP you’d never know they existed, because they don’t affect you.
