Right now it seems like the primary way of finding a dungeon group is to spam the trade channel in a major city.
I would humbly suggest a tab in the social window for LFG and a /lfg command that adds an lfg tag to your character. This way, people can actually use the social window to see who’s looking for a group and send them a tell instead of spamming a channel that already experiences an overload of trade-spam.
/join world, /Join lookingforgroup
the LFG addon does what u want. blizzard wont add a GUI for the LFG/rework the innkeeper dungeon finder because a small minority (alexensual and that guy that didnt want the open all mail button) will cry.
Did they also cry about the dragonkin around Sunken Temple in Swamp of Sorrows not being elite? Or about Auction Houses being implemented in all bigger cities before the AQ patch?
As far as I’ve seen so far, there’s plenty of minor changes to the game from vanilla. I’m totally fine with it. In fact, I’m not playing WoW Classic for the nostalgia - I just prefer the gameplay instead of the retail version. Small tweaks and adding quality of life improvements to the game would be totally fine.
It would also be nice with an added option to use the “new” character models. Because, as said before. The gameplay in WoW Classic is better than retail. That doesn’t mean it has to look bad.
The LFG channel is surprisingly active despite it being hidden in the chat box settings. It’s actually a lot easier to find groups than trade chat and ofc it’s global unlike trade. It would be nice if it was enabled by default (in a separate tab) but it does get used by people quite a lot.
