In Legion time and definitly later in Battle for Azeroth we all will use the flightmount. The Big problem was all time if you want to do open PvP. You can fly away if you don’t PvP.
My suggestion is to make everyone who use Warmode to disable the fly permission in current Content.
Example: You can fly in Legion and in other Worlds but in the current World (Battle for Azeroth) you must use a ground mount if you have Warmode on.
As PvE who won’t trouble you can use the fly mounts.
Netomatic is the biggest insult of BFA so far, here item against flying people in PvP, and also no flying for half a year …
Flying was never problem in PvP, it actually helped people to move around location and find fights faster.
During TBC we had whole squadron in our guild, and whenever someone got ganked in the open world, or looked in general direction of one of the outland PvP objectves half of a raid of netherwing drakes (and few alars by the end of tbc) immediately went full wagner and kicked horde back to stone age …
That flying is bad for PvP is some nonsense excuse coming from people who are against everything popular …
Flying is one of the best things ever introduced into wow, no dual talents, tmog or reforging can ever best that …
What I would like is the option to actually SEE players in WM, even if I can’t interact with them. Seems really silly that I can be stood next to a group of guildies or my dungeon party and not be able to see any of them.
actually flying in warmode actually would make me dust of my night elf druid. to get away from horde zerging every world quest area in the world except for tortollan flightpaths (the only spot Alliance seems to win at)
Shadowmeld and flightform will be nice to escape 20 man hordesauacage parties with. and the flightform+ nettomatic will be hilarious to dismount flying people and then fly away when getting out of combat.
That will remind me of the good old days in wotlk in wich typhoon also dismounted people.
