Suggestions to change M+

People don’t wait for it because you can just clear the debuff at will when it’s not timed, bosses are pulled in raids to reset stuff if it’s possible(Hello first part of sanctum of domination, you’d pull tarragrue several times during trash clears to reset CDs). In M+ you talk to an NPC and you can BL pretty much every pack if you want to when it’s not in time.

What are you talking about? No not every trash pull is lusted in megadungeons or raids. That is arrant nonsense.

Its also totally illogical to claim its required, and we need the timer to stop people doing it. If its required, people would still have to do it even with the timer, because otherwise it would be impossible. If its not required, and it obviously isnt, no one is going to be prepared to wait 10 minutes for every trash pull.

Anyway, as a way to spend my sick leave, bickering here hasnt been the most productive use of my time. Bye.

Sure its not “required”. But if you can do it why not? Why spend time preparing CC, interrupt rotation, CDs for a bit more harder trash pack if you can just yolo it down with hero?
Its not “required” to take the path of least resistance but people seem to take it anyways…

People will play only the optimal way. the damage and hp in high keys will be so high that only druids and warrs can be taken as tanks for physical damage and replaced when magic damage reduction is required for next pulls. always bring priest for hp buff. always bl every pull otherwise pack deals too much damage over time.
Next Boss applies bleed? Join LFG and search for mandatory dwarf tank or evoker for 30min. this will be an absolute sh.t show and thus this mode will never be in the game.

i didnt read any comment in this thread. this is only what immediatly think. I bet others have good arguments againts it aswell or even similar.

Efficiency is fun.

In BFA we had in season 2 the bwonsamdi buff when you got out of time. This included a big throughput buff. People have just feed from the start deaths in the first pack till they were out of time before running the dungeon because they knew they were never able to do the dungeon otherwise :grin:

I tell you; when it is needed we are going to wait for BL for every pull.

if it didnt work they would scrap it like other things like CMs , garrison , class halls etc etc.

You are proposing to turn an end game content to a casual content. Maybe they should add some cosmetic rewards to M0 so you can play it over and over again without a timer and without affixes.

+16 is literally nothing.

The whole essence of M+ is the timer. It is a competitive system.

Subjective in the eyes of the individual.

Is it like 2000 score for +15? How many 2000+ players do you see around? You call a +16 “nothing” when you see scores of 2000 players.

13-14’s is 2000 :slight_smile:

He is proposing a stand alone dungeon format without a timer with scaling difficult like in the current format but independant from the current m+ format.

The timers for casual players, particularly in PUGs, is not fun.

M+ as a whole is not a gamemode made for casual players. So not an issue.

There is no reason why you cannot have scaling difficulty without a timer.

Without the timer, you can replace leavers.

And also kick the random to invite your mate to get the loot.

You can also scrap tyrannical and fortified, which are pretty universally disliked modifiers.

One thing I agree on.

2k is this season score for mix of 13 and 14s . 16s timed is probably like 2150 or closer to 2200 score (i assume since i have way to many keys on tyranical done only on like 8-10 and still have over 2070 :stuck_out_tongue: )

M+ is not for casuals. You have Heroics and Mythic Zeroes for that.

If you don’t like the timer, difficulty and limited group allowed for the run, then don’t do M+. It’s there to challenge players. It is not meant to be a leisurely stroll in the park for free loot.

If you want to be able to sit and type between every boss, wait for the mega dungeon to come out or else, after all these years, get yourself a guild.

M+ is a challenge mode gamemode. Mythic Zeroes are effective the last non-raid leisurely gearing systems. After that, you must make the effort to beat the harder keys and beat the timer.

Only changes that M+ needs is new affixes to vary the weeks a bit more.
