You said enhancement shamans don’t have any better options, I posted their best option. The point of a topic is irrelevant in the direction of a conversation.
And no, saying shamans should actually strive to be useful in raids isn’t trolling.

Learn to read questions before trying to answer them. “Restoration” isn’t a weapon, and “Aurastone Hammer” isn’t an enha weapon.
No, resto is a spec and Aurastone HAMMER is a weapon. It’s called aurastone hammer, not aura stone bowl of soup.
There’s also no such thing as a “enha” weapon. There’s weapons that are highly south after for enhancement PVP players, but there’s nothing that an enhancement shaman can have that isn’t better suited for a warrior.
Aurastone on the other hand? Might as well have shaman and paladin written all over it.
You should really pick your fights better.
Yeah, I’m sure that with Aurastone Hammer an enhancement shaman would do a lot more DPS than with Sulfuras or even a friggin Dreadforge Retaliator.
If you feel the urge to keep going with your “shamans shouldn’t DPS” crusade, make a thread or something. Going into threads and posting offtopic crap won’t make you look any smarter.
The OP asked a question about Sulfuras’s debuff, and the only reason I brought up that enhas don’t really have better choices for a weapon is because somebody above me said
The point of the topic isn’t “how good enhas are”. People like you have said the same thing thousands of times, and I’m sure everyone - including the OP - knows by now. And he probably doesn’t give a damn. Which is perfectly in his right to do.

The damage difference wouldn’t be noticeable. A higher weapon damage weapon offers more burst and is good for short duration fights; hense why people want 2handers for PVP. For DPS however, the shaman might as well just not even bother. The hammer would at least give them some mana regen.
There’s a reason why enhancement was pushed into dual wield for the rest of the game’s lifespan.
Why would I do that? You don’t make different threads for different viewpoints, that’s how you cause small groups of people to stick together with their similar opinions instead of broadening their horizons. If I made such a thread, it would be visited by raiders. It wouldn’t be visited by the shaman players whom said thread would be directed towards.

Everytime Horde have some kiddos that want to play Enh Shaman, Elemental Shaman, Feral, Moonkin, in raids. And they do high parse (because nobody play this so it’s easy to have high parse), but still bottom DPS.
The response is just to bench them. Stop allowing meme spec. Replace.
Play Warrior/Mage/Rogue/Warlock, or heal.
Let the real man do the DPS job.

And then, they want gear lol. Why the hell we would funnel TOEP to Moonkin. You do the same DPS when you are naked, still OOM in 3 spell. I don’t want your 3% crit, I want 1 more Warrior please.
you can’t expect the whole players to be flawless.
plus most pugs and can’t fill up with perfect class’s so sometimes they accept w/e spec or even low levels.
Pugging is for noobs that think tps gear should not be prio to tanks

Maybe not in your guild,but in ours it will deffo happen cus hunter do more melee damage then lolret paladin or a lolhance shaman.
Spamming a melee ability is more helpful to keep the debuff uptime then waiting 3+ seconds for a weapon swing.
what about an offtank? The guilds that actualy care about speedrunning will not turn one of their hunters into an auto attack bot because they are running comps so melee heavy that nightfall is a dps loss. So yeah no guild will realisticly consider using nightfall on a hunter.
Sulfuras debuff is a DoT. DoTs have the lowest priority (or one of), they don’t kick good debuffs like Nightfall or curses or Sunders or whatever.
Among DoTs, there is a separate prio, depending on the DPS they do and the amount of ticks that’s left. So I think Sulf wouldn’t even kick a Deep Wound off.
