Very bad one indeed, i guess u could end up having party full of dps or even 3 healers or so… It was just randomly grouping every one… Dont think that many miss it

When I was brand new to the game it was how I learned dungeons existed. Was running in the barrens and since it was early enough in wrath people were still using them to summon and I went up and asked what they were doing lol

yes it was… but was removed before 1.13, as we are playing 1.13 it is correct for the system to have been removed

Meeting stones worked as LFG system in vanilla, nobody used them though because world/lfg channel was better than that crap. LFG Icon came during 2.0.1 at the same time meeting stones became summoning stones. Basically now in tbc you could use the lfg system without having to run to the meeting stone to utilize it. However the system still sucked and nobody used them. It was mid wotlk people started using it because of dual spec and because it actually tped you to the instance meaning you didnt have to travel.

Saying “nobody used them” is silly. Plenty of people used them. Especially if you did remote dungeon like Mara as Ally and you lost dps. It was convenient so you wouldn’t have to travel to city and look for people. Yes it sucked at forming full grp cuz of roles. But regardless it was Vanilla wow feature. Warts and all.
