After SM, doing dungeons became harder and harder. Uldaman was close to impossible, same with Maraudon. Now i’ve reached level 55 and wanted to do Lower Blackrock Spire and i’ve spent the last 30 min trying to get a reply from anyone willing to do it. It’s close to impossible to find dungeon groups at 52-58.
And this coming from a mage. Must be a tough life for any spec that can’t spellcleave.

Ii depends on the realm. And get in the proper guild, that might help a lot, since in big guilds people are doing dungeon runs together, specially late dungeons where they need to gear up people before raids.

Keep in mind that majority of the players seem to still be in the 40-50 range, judging by the LFG chat, at least on my realm.

Might be… it’s hard to tell at what level the majority of ppl are. I’m playing on and right now it’s really hard finding a group.

Why would anyone bring a level 55 dps to a pug if you can bring a 56-60? It’s not like higher level dps is hard to find before a group is full.

People are mostly all over the 20-40 range , then there are quite few level 60 and then there are not that many level 50-60 hybrids who were not good enough to rush it trough.

Do people do LBRS at level 55? I mean anyone farming prebis probably just wants level 60 players for more damage. But anyways when you say “trying to get a reply” did you mean that you looked for a group that someone else was leading or for your own group that you made?
Yes. That was also my experience back in vanilla. There is a hump around levels 52-54; levelling is slow and there aren’t that many dungeons for those levels. The remedy to this is to just grind mobs and do quests, if there’s any quests to be had. On the other hand you will find plenty of groups when you’re 58+
This… majority of people do not rush to 60, we level at human speed. I play since launch (with job and wife and all that) and I am 34. OK I had to re-roll twice (4 servers at launch… what was that), but still… 55 is far far away.
Strange, i don’t have any problem to find a UBRS or LBRS group at 6am. Maybe it’s because you are level 55 or a new realm ? I don’t know. Try to get level 58 with quest ? It’s not hard.
The real issue is that LBRS isn’t that popular and it’s loot was never that great. I had two mains in aq40 and 1 in naxx and I never remember farming lbrs. I think it had a relic for my druid and thank god I got it in 1-2 kills. I think the trinket off the dragon is strong for melee but probably not worth the head ache of farming. I don’t think I ever farmed it. Try Sunken temple for leveling but yeah, outside of being a healer, I don’t think I farmed dungeons in the 50-60 range. After you’ve exhausted Maraudon, you just plow your way to 60 off world grinding and quests.

The curve for levels on my server seems to be late 30’s/early 40’s right now, so it will be another 2 weeks or so before endgame properly gets going. Also, as mentioned, LBRS is cancer and was never that popular anyway.
You are far ahead of the majority of player-base. The people who rushed to 60 was either hard-core players with guilds established long ago or retail players with the end-game mentality which will only group up with the same mentality.
Also even though I really liked to do vanilla instances again, I discovered I missed the open world more. No need to stuck yourself in an instance with 5 stranger, we already so many layers in the game.
I prefer quest and discover, experience the world with others. Group up, help them or be helped when I need them. Smelling the flowers, getting into every single cave to explore. I prefer to do one single instance with the people who share same vision and mentality with me over doing 20 instances with a pug. You should really listen to people who says take it easy, otherwise you will not find ordinary people when you hit end-game.
Classic is a marathon not a sprint.
You’re too low lvl for LBRS PUGs. If you wanna do LBRS at that level find a guild, otherwise wait until level 57+. Plus the loot from LBRS is pretty trash compared to UBRS.
You can farm BRD for a few levels though

I have the same. I’ve changed server 3 times and am currently level 32 playing casually a few hours(if even) in the evening because I have other things that need doing.
You are far behind the first that dinged 60, and far ahead of the rest. Do quests, get too 60 and join those that are 60 already (will take ALOT shorter time) then too try and wait xD
