Who do you think has the most value and your respect in a mm+ dungeon ?

Most value is the Tank.

Without one you literally cannot pull any minions in M+.

I don’t think it’s down to a role personally.

It’s more of a case of someone doing their job well and not being toxic, communicating.

Nobody gets to demand my respect for playing a specific role, nor do I see any of the three roles as more valuable than the other.

I suppose tank and healer have more of my respect as they have chosen a more difficult role of managing the group and keeping them alive, whilst dealing with most of the backlash. It still depends on what sort of person they are though and whether someone is pulling their weight, communicating and being polite.

Imagine a situation where :

  • anyone is toxic
  • everyone do mecanics
  • everyone is nice
  • no donkey

The dps, actually (:
They have to keep up with multiple mechanics, a tough rotation, people disrespecting them for thinking they’re playing a brainless role. They’re also expected to interrupt, stun, have defensives on time, have every consumable ever. Without the dps no dungeon can happen.

Without any of the roles the dungeon can’t happen. Without anyone doing what they are supposed to the dungeon can’t happen. All are equally important :dracthyr_shrug:
Healers and Tanks just get the sharper end of the stick I think.

If the dps isn’t top of the top in a high end dungeon no tank or healer can salvage it. Sure, in a +2 anyone can dps but the question didn’t specify level. Their difficulty and responsibility equalizes quite fast as levels progress.

It is. Everyone’s equally needed in such a scenario.

But overall i mentioned the dps when it comes to respect because they get more disrespect than everyone
-from a healer

I’d say Healers… they got to put up with hopeless DPS and Tanks who can’t avoid stuff and never use mitigating abilities.

So basically you are asking which of the 3 roles each of us respects the most.

For me it goes like this

  1. DPS
  2. Tank
  3. Healer

I respect DPS the most because I play DPS and that is what I understand the most, so if someone is playing a DPS good it’s easier for me to understand how, what and why he is performing the way they are.

Simmilar logic with the 2 other roles. I have a somewhat basic understanding of tanking, and next to none about healing, hence respecting them the least (also healing is the least appealing role to me).
