Hi!I wont give all the detail here.Very short story.I divorced from my wife 2 month ago my son go live with her. Before i left i gave my full acces of my account to my son he created a email and password and put his authentication on the account but i told him i was turning On the parental control. Then my son but in majority one of his friends (i will stay polite about him…)did whatever with my account and the worst is that control parental is very useless…You can just go into the account settings and swicht the email…There is not even a security question or something for block the kid to remove it…So anwyay we are not in the same town and i was not able to handle that properly…After 2 week i finally get back my access of my account. But blizzard decided to suspend all my games for 6 months.I never broke the rules since 2007 on the game and my only mistake was to share my account with my immature teenage and this is not against the Tos i think.I would like to at least reduce the penalty but blizzard send me an empty anwser and decline my appeal.Anyway sorry for my english and thanks!
Ban discussions aren’t allowed on the forums.
Uhuh…
You remain responsible for the account as the parent/guardian. This means any actions they take, their pet, their alien or plant may have done is the sole responsibility of you as the guardian/parent.
So you’ve already appealed. Typically, 6 month bans are reserved for accounts that have serious breaches of the account that should’ve been permanent banned.
You were lucky.
You’ll have to sit down the whole 6 months and have enough time to discuss this with your “son” about the consequences.
If you would like to have it checked over again, you can appeal again. But Blizzard doesn’t need to reduce or remove it for whatever the account player at that time has done to breach the terms.
Good luck!
Thanks for the anwser…This part was not necessary.Just lost everything 2 months ago.So you can keep your little insinuation for yourself.
Tbh what i think about this?It is BS 18 years paying this game and i did account sharing not with some booster or thing like that but with my son and i prouve that to blizzard so thank blizzard but now you know i did nothing wrong maybe 2 week suspension would’ve have been enough…
I did not insinuate anything. You admitted to and I have quoted:
Irrelevant, you must still obey the rules and are held responsible for whoever was on the account at that time.
Blizzard’s view is you did something, that has warranted a permanent ban or 6 months. In this case, 6 months is given and the appeal is denied.
You then admit, for whatever you did, that 2 weeks would’ve been enough. You don’t get to decide what the penalty is either about it.
As you can see, ban discussions don’t lead anywhere as you’re trying to wriggle yourself under the ban. For any appeals, you can still appeal, or maybe not since it has been 2 months ago.
Edit:
These are your previous thread related about this matter that you claimed “Blizzard is trolling me” when they asked for additional information to recover said account:
