It is stupid yes. 900 noncrits/1450crit.
It should do around 300-400 noncrit dmg at most.

A mage wearing full stam gear will have around 1.6k hp unbuffed, mby more with enchants. Warriors too get melted by an swd crit.
Love it can’t wait to see the tears when it gets gutted. Won’t have any significant effect on Priest mind you they will still be the most OP class in the game, but fun none of the less.
At this point I literally want all OP specs and classes to burn at the stake so I can laugh & ridicule people who come on the forums to complain about it. Can just call them noobs and say things like get gud scrub or skill issue.
SOD community is toxic asf so might as well jump on the bandwagon.

id get a swd nerf to gut the burst damage,then buff me for pve.cause there everything is better.

that is the big big big problem here. SWD shouldnt even be castable unless the target is at 20% HP or less. Make it a real execute then. Make it conditional.
That would be a fair change actually if it were to keep its damage, but then it cant be used in pvp as a preemptive CC breaker. Id rather see its damage toned down to ~300-400 noncrits
L2P issue. Shadow res pots are in the game for a reason.

A priest doesn’t even stop to fight a player when they see them, just keep running and press the instant kill button.
Shadow priest needs some retuning. I feel like SW:D shouldn’t do more dmg than mind blast with twisted faith…
The problem is that if you nerf SW:D you’ll hit spriest dps in pve very hard. It might be best to move some of the dmg from SW:D away to SW:P and mind blast. And/or have twisted faith improve mind spike dmg.
Nerfing instants and buffing casts will open up options for counterplay in pvp and require more setup/skill to pull off (1.5 sec cast but no push back resistance) without hurting dps too much.

Imo they wont get nerfed until next phase, since next phase they will get some more dmg increases. Right now they need the dmg to be competitive lest they fall somewhere above frostmages in dmg
Then also stack shadow res on your gear. I’m quite sure it’s more effective than complaining on the forums !
Or stop PvPing until they adjust things, that’s what I’m doing.

Sounds weak. If you really wanna trash on spriests you start chugging shadow prot potions like a fiend and tbag them while you camp them in wpvp and /laugh
Tried it. Didnt work. I dont even think the shadow priest noticed my shadow prot potion.

Spend 50 silver to pop a SPP it can absorb 40% of priest’s instant cast SW:D then you will die 2 seconds later of the dots anyway.

Asked the famous priest hydra about PWD, he admits its totally broken and expects it to be nerfed by atleast 20-30%.
