I used to think that maybe if Alleria returned Sylvanas would be able to feel again. Because when you give her the necklace she starts crying and singing back in BC. The game doesn’t feel the same anymore…
I miss the days of WOTLK when gameplay was good, PVP was good, and even lore was good. It went downhill after that but MOP was kinda good (kinda).
I believe that spite is the worst trait of all, and Sylvanas and the Forsaken embody spite in the game, long before Garrosh turned, and even he had held the birch in check. I believe that what we are seeing now is Sylvanas doing as she pleases, since she now has the power to do so.
you guys are forgetting the silverpine forest quest line after she gets killed again the valkyr rez her and she says that the valkyr are the key to everything she has planned this for years i still dont believe shes a baddie and i was going to post a peep show gif but im not allowed lol
Sylvanas has been evil since the inception of her character, remember? Even if parts of her motivations were sympathetic, that doesn’t change her actions from being malicious.
Remember when she helped the last surviving Lordaeron citizens and soldiers reclaim their capital, then turned around and slaughtered them for no reason? Or is that suddenly ‘not evil’?
That’s the point. Sylvanas is NOT evil. She has simply evolved to a higher being and sees us and our lives as nothing more than stardust.
She is doing what she is because she wants to change the world. She is like the ultimate SJW who is breaking the system in order to bring us true equality.

The evil part on the other hand has pretty much always been a thing, the issue is how they used it in BFA.
Back in wotlk sylvanas killed herself then came back thanks to the valkyrs and claimed that she would use all her mindless forsaken as pawns to protect her and never experience death ever again.
Part of the wotlk lore and pretty much the reason why we had the war campaign in BFA
