The dragons just ressurected Bolvar out of all those soldiers who fell? Hmm i doubt that too me it just looked like they cleared the acid and flew on. Guess he was powerless, but why did LK spend so much time toreturing him if he was non-important and not just kill him instantly and take his soul like he did with Sarufang?
You take the gameplay as litteral interpretation of the story.
I translate the gameplay to fit the story intent, because the gameplay by itself cannot convey it perfectly.
I mean, story-wise itâs not an MMORPG and there arenât 50 Paladins hanging out in Boralus who all wield The Ashbringer. Story-wise thereâs only 1 which belong to âthe heroâ.
Likewise with The Lich King encounter. Your 25man Horde guild raid didnât kill The Lich King in the story. The hero was present there alongside other champions, led by Tirion Fordring, who ultimately defeated The Lich King with the power of The Light and Ashbringer itself.
There were no Forsaken players there, because none of the proud champions who fought alongside Tirion are named or identified. Your character is sort of part of the storyâŚand sort of not.
Itâs the same way that Blizzard spun the story for Onyxia. Story-wise it was Varian who defeated Onyxia, alongside some helpful aides (us). But gameplay-wise we of course get to beat and loot the dragon.
Aye, Bolvar aint sitting on the throne, Arhas still is. Scourge donât lvl like us? The Burning Legion sure did. Archimonde and KJ lvled up too. Even Ragnaros, Onyxia and Nefarian so yeah i dunno. But i suppose LK and the scourage are just sitting on their asses.
Kilâjaeden knocks on the DEV door , excuse me I just watched a silly trailer with this female char called Sylvanus ripping a Helm apart which I created , I do not recall it opening a portal to the shadowlands. No worries Kilâjaedenthe Dev say we just throwing darts at the story board and where they land we following that its great RNG.
Things which are created are not liable to stay the same forever. Also I was referring to the OP, who couldnât understand how Sylvanas was strong enough to do what she has and is doing.
