Hello,
I joined an Onyxia raid on the 30th. The gear item T2 Bloodfang for rogues dropped which I wanted and won it by rolling 97. But the Master Looter gave it to another player who rolled a 94. Who then quickly equipped it, making it no longer tradeable. To my knowledge they have both made a ticket to resolve this issue. I can provide proof of the issue.
The raid ID is 62678305
Hopefully, this will get resolved quickly.
Kind regards.
First, you cannot name players on the forum for issues like loot disputes.
As for the mistaken equipping of said loot, there’s a possibility that GM’s cannot intervene: Loot Trading in Classic *Updated*
Thank you for the head’s up. I corrected the mistake. Would GM’s not interfere even if proof is given?
It depends heavily, in this case since both players (Master Looter + Player who received it) made the tickets it should be possible for them to do something.
Proof is subjective to what is clear in Blizzard’s eyes, not what a player thinks is clear.
For example, in your OP you said you won it by rolling 97. But you state nothing about the loot rules, like highest roll wins. That in itself is already sufficient to cast doubt in the past before the very strict current loot policy is applied namely that nothing is transferred at all.
You can only wait and hope that they make a serious exception.
It was a PUG where the weapons, bag and ony head were on gbid and rest was on roll. Considering how it has always been this way where the highest roll wins, I don’t think it needs pointing out. But since I can’t post proof of the event on here even tho I have proof, I can understand why that might cast doubt.
