Tbh big mounts is just an excuse for people to stand ontop of NPCs and troll, which we could do with less of. So I am quite happy for the shrink; he’s still enormous.

But blizz also has the ability to make people force dismount within a certain radius of NPC’s that are needed.
Or even unable to be on top of with an exclusion zone.

Adding my vote to change Taivan back. The no-life meta achievement should give something special, and the big size of Taivan made it special. Now he’s just another mount. Size him back up, please!

I’m a Mount collector, and I cant remember the last 100 Mounts I got, but I remember the Good Boy and I absolutely adore and love him - atleast for the few days he had the right size.
In this case size DOES matter. It was a pain to farm the achievement, it should be rewarded as such. His story even goes into the detail that he is such a massive boy he can carry centauren.
Looking at him right now, with my Nightelf sitting on there while I write this post, I feel bad for the tiny creature.
Please give him his old size back. Yes, the model has tons of issues (does not tilt on terrain, wonky swimming, no summoning animation) - by making him smaller, they are less present but who cared about that really. If you don’t want to fix it, it is what it is… but don’t nerf the fun out of the mount.
Let him be big and wonky. Atleast hes special and he does not just dust in the stable with the other 500 completely unspecial mounts.
Let the good boy be a big good boy, how hes supposed to be.

I agree, for all the achievements you need to do to earn him, his size should be returned to what it was! Getting Taivan and him being so big was a huge motivator for a lot of people!

As soon as I saw that he was the reward for the meta-achievement, I immediately started working towards it (I’d only done like 20% of the achievements). This size reduction has absolutely taken the wind out of my sails, I don’t know if I should even complete it anymore.

Give him the ability to fly is the only thing I would accept if they keep this size, it’s just another ground mount that won’t be used if he doesn’t atleast have his size to go alongside it.

I will throw my voice in, even though it probably will not make a difference.
I hate to say things like “Big L” or “fun detected” as that does not offer any real feedback, but its hard to not say it here especially when you consider him being large effected nothing in game as we have other equally large mounts
You could argue that he’s size meant that players could obstruct NPCs but again when you consider that we have other extremely large mounts this argument quickly falls flat on its face, not to mention that we have “anti mount tech” to combat this problem
in my option Taivan should be a “big boy” that is a defining part of he’s character, he is an unusually large bakar, too big to justify taking care of if he did not “contribute” to the clan
They thought that because of his size he would make a great hunting dog but when he proved to scared to fight they figured his size would make him a good herding dog but when he proved to be to “weak” to intimidate the argail they where at a lost what to do with him and thought he was useless, only for him to step up when it mattered most and his massive size allowed him to drag injured centar to safety
When I first saw that Taivan was the meta achievement reward I though
“cool, but he will be shrunk down, so it will be more like a Taivan look a like, will it feel like Taivan or just a bakar mount?”,
But when I first saw him in game I was, well surprised “He’s large?, wait this player must have some kind of buff to stand out”, to say I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the player did not have any such buff is an under statement, “of course he’s big, its Taivan after all!”, this in turn made me push even harder to complete the achievement knowing that my reward was Taivan, actually Taivan
to say I am disappointed to see he’s size reduced is just as much of an under statement if not more.

That’s what Blizzard do. They get rid of anything that’s considered fun.

I’d agree, but then what about all the other mounts that people use to do the same thing? This isn’t a new feature that’s unique to Taivan, there’s that Direhide(?) mount that people do the same with, I’m pretty sure it can be done with the yaks too.
This is nonsense. We’ve had big mounts added this expansion (mammoths hello?) and they’re not an issue.
People love big Taivan because big Taivan is unique and fluffy and cute and that’s the reason why so many people went away from solitude of instances to do open world content instead - to get big Taivan.
But Blizzard have decided to reduce Taivan’s size for unknown reasons, and by doing so making Taivan less cute, less fluffy, less unique which makes people lose motivation to take on the enourmous task of obtaining him (me included).

Blizzard solve this many times, just make it so you either dismount or you can interact through the mounts. Of course this doesn’t mean they don’t forget they solved it every time and have the same happen over and over.
The uniqueness of this mount was its size. An expansion meta should reward a unique mount. Blizzard have just shot themselves in the foot with this. So stupid if it was intentional.
