I don’t really post very often, I roll with the punches and enjoy the heights, of which Dragonflight has had many.
As a dog lover, Taivan’s tale in game, so eloquently summarised by Lusandra was one of the highest of highs.
The meta reward has been something I have been obsessing over as soon as WoWhead had gleaned what was required.
With the The Old Gods and the Ordering of Azeroth (Annotated) to go I am still looking forward to getting the bestest boi, but please please please revert him back to his old size.
One more huge mount isn’t going to stop people hiding NPC’s - If I’m not going to be able see an NPC I’d sooner it be because of the bestest boi than the other flavours of NPC blocker…
On behalf of everyone who Tavian’s questline resonated with, please give our huge boi back.

I don’t even have the mount, nor do I intend to do the farm for it.
But come on…
Blizzard, this didn’t help anyone and only hurt those that worked hard to farm it.

Dissapointing to see his size nerfed and i hope they revert it.
I generally collect all mounts i can do (or have the patience to do) but they have little meaning to me other than being part of my collection and are never used.
Taivan was different though, his story was something that created a real connection with me and i use him becuase of that connection.

Blizzard out of touch! Wow shocking, big news! All that developer time wasted into FOMO, cash shop mounts, Clownstorm to alienate playerbase even more.

Haven’t posted on the forums in ages but this issue needs addressing and if adding my voice to the chorus of complaints has even the slightest chance of effecting change then that’s reason enough for me. It’s truly unconscionable what’s happened to this goodest of boys. I can only suspect Old God interference.

I was planning on grinding this out, but I don’t think I’ll bother anymore. Now it’s just like any other mount.
This is the WORST change in mount history, they didn’t change the weird jump, nor added an animation as you summon him, at least for Human, you just stand there like 
, not even a lil whistle or hand rubbing. you just

Massive L move by Blizzard as usual… We can’t have fun things in WoW as it’s seemingly against their code of conduct.
BUY PRODUCT, GRIND, CONSUME is the narrative they want to force upon their playerbase.

Please revert the change. Taivan was unique for his size during the quests, he’s unique for his size now.
The change never needed to happen.

I could see the NPC through all the mounts when farming the carpet. Thats all they need to keep doing.

I’ve never once posted on the official Blizzard forums, but here I am, because this shrinking of the Goodest of Good Boys is a travesty. I sincerely hope Blizzard reverse this change, part of the appeal of Taivan was his size, heck it was intrinsic to his storyline. Please, make him the giant he ought to be again D:

They didn’t want to make all the other mounts feel inadequate.
