What is up wth droprate? No matter how long you farm and not a single dropped! Fix it!

Wowhead lists 19 mobs capable of dropping them, with between 1-10% droprate, which is terrible considering how many you need for every rep item.
I’ve personally only seen one drop (little turd dazed me while herbing) and I was surprised to find that they were selling for 800g each, which is crazy high.
