He really do.
He cant keep himself alive and sucks att getting aggro.
And with the nemesis, he dies in 3 seconds making that fight impossible for a poor mage.

This was based on playing him as a tank with a dps. I have now played with him in tank stance as a healer and its a completely different ballpark. Se my remark below…
If they want him to have a tank stance, why not give it to him, not this waste of time wet blanket tank that he now is?
Try him as dps. My Earth Elemental alone deals more damage than him.

I use that on all my other specs, but my mage has a hard time surviving so I tried Bran as a tank, but he is o bad at it.
Unfortunately the tank spec is really only supposed to be used by healers. Why they couldn’t make him like a warlock/hunter pet tank I don’t know. There’s a reason I only play paladin and pet classes in delves.
They need to buff his HP if he is supposed to be worth anything as Tank.
Tank Bran sucks?
Try Brann sucks in general. Sure, the healer keeps you alive and dps one kills stuff, if you do easymode and play delves as tank.
But he is so bugged. Behaves in aggravating manner and only causes problems for you.
I have stealthed to skip stuff. I pass some groups from a distance where they shouldnt even agro if I wasnt stealthed. Brann might just randomly pop a shot at those groups. Just randomly for seemingly no reason.
Oh, there is a herb in the corner! Brann will run to pick it up. He also agroes all the groups nearby.
The dps “cooldown” thing where he jumps on the gryphon? There is a good chance when he leaps onto his gryphon that he leaps towards any enemy groups nearby and agros them.
!!! Your MANA is low!!! Oh my god… on my arcane mage he might just randomly scream that to me. Bran, yes, I know my mana is low! Shut up!
If he doesnt say that he says the nicer version and tells me to come rest for a bit to restore my mana.
Delves are my content. Its all I do basically. Brann is brings me pain.

It works as resto but only because I keep catwaving. As Guardian I do 3 times more dps so him being there is pointless. And yes, he is useless and an utter annoyance with him talking all the time. Wish I could mute him or sth. At least we’re having Valeera in Midnight. She’s good to look at.
If i’m not mistaken, tank Brann receives damage buffs and stuff from being healed, that role is purely to get healers through Delves (Where they just spam-heal him to buff his DPS and threat), DPS should probably use Healer Brann, instead.
If you are healer he works perfectly fine

Ended up using Voidwalker to tank with Brann as off tank haha
He might not have been so annoying if it was OG voice and didn’t disengage into everything… and stand on my loot. I’m sure Valeera will become annoying as well.

I might go with damage then, try it out.
But I like tank Brann, he’s good. Takes time though, a lot of it. But that’s alright, I got that, and I need to learn my damage rotations proper so it’s fine.
Good thing you said it works with damage even if I heal. I figure it would be a good experience because with a tank I rarely need to do anything but heal the tank, Brann, leaving me inexperienced defending myself, and of course attacking when I’m defending.
Anyway, Branns erratic behavior doesn’t bother me. I think he’s a fine learning tool.
I have to say, tank bran is taking much more dmg, than a dd bran, but at least he gets aggro, which was fine in my heal alts. Just keep him alive, do some dmg and cc a little.
I srsly cannot understand when people struggle with delves…its mostly lack of knowledge or skill
Tank brann is explicitly for healers. He does more damge and holds more threat the more you heal him.
Stop trying to use him as dps.
tank brann is amazing though after the changes this season
if you got 3 dps + heal + tank brann and healer knows how to heal him - he is doing insane dmg (like double the dmg that 3 dps with 700 + itld do ) and carrying group 
the trick is to have a healer in your party who can heal him
I just wish i could disable him. The heals are a nice perk, but not really nessecary if you play smart. Im just sick of him ninja pulling constantly, especially in those under water delves, he keeps pulling sharks and stingrays that deal tons of damage and take forever to kill.
