Tank Bran Sucks

You need to spam heal tank Brann, he pulses out damage for received heals, and it buffs his other skills, OP’s mistake was using tank Brann on a class without any healing spells.

You are…

…tank than pick heal bran, if you can handle yourself take dd bran

This. If you follow this and have a reasonably levelled Brann you can do a t8 on a freshly levelled toon, you might die on occasion but it is perfectly doable. Brann is not perfect, but he is about where he should be for an ai assist.

Only time it becomes an issue to keep him alive as a healer is when you spawn Ky’veza for the weekly map or get the Ky’veza clone from flickergate. For some reason they hit him so hard that he’s nearly impossible to keep alive even with defensives used on him.

Yeah, I just run him as a healer or DPS. Even then he runs around too much and accidentally pulls extra enemies…

It works as resto but only because I keep catwaving. As Guardian I do 3 times more dps so him being there is pointless. And yes, he is useless and an utter annoyance with him talking all the time. Wish I could mute him or sth. At least we’re having Valeera in Midnight. She’s good to look at.

The fact that he didn’t have Tank spec on release is hilarious, and then they gave him one, only to nerf it into oblivion soon after. As if delves would gave you some unfair advantage. LMAO

It’s still very strong. Just only for healers.

Spam heals into him, even when he’s full hp. Just over heal like crazy and his damage skyrockets.

Bliz didn’t want him to be an I win button for dps specs.

I’m only 690 and he seems ok when I play preservation. If I play DPS spec I always switch him to heals, though.

Brann is good as tank.

1. Give him 5 secs to get agro

My only complaint with tank Brann is that he rarely loses aggro.
I think mine is 70ish.
Cause I want more opportunities to defend myself.
With damage Brann he doesn’t take any damage at all, it seems, so then all I do is defend myself and that’s worse as I want someone to heal. I want a balance.

Aggro gets better i feel but yes he is like tissue paper at time’s just seems to fall over easily which is not good.

Tank Bran is a PsyOp to make players appreciate pug tanks more.

Level 100 Brann tanks perfectly fine as a 4 man [1 healer 3 dps] in a Tier 11 delve, it’s a solid alternative if you can’t solo yet or struggling to find a tank.

Only issue is he doesn’t move while tanking so it’s up to players to move out of the way, like them Archives Drakes with their null breath that can one shot people.
