My Level 100 Brann is pretty much invincible when I go solo. My complaints however with the design of his tank spec are:
- His pulsing damage is based on effective healing. This is troublesome when he doesn’t get damaged enough for me to do any noticeable effective healing
- His shotgun stacks are based on constant healing. This means I have to just spam heals and reach 95% effective overhealing just to make him deal enough damage with his shotgun… unless he decides to just run back and forth in which case his stacks just drop off. And as Eitr said above, this is inelegant solution. Not to mention that sometimes he can lose 6 stacks within 1 gcd.
- His hp bar without any healing from me yoyos more than even those of Vengeance DHs and Blood DKs. I’d prefer if his damage-intake profile was more akin to that of Prot-Wars or Brewmasters.

Does his HP bar reach 70 million for anyone else? I have no idea what causes such inflation, and it’s definitely not Ancestral Vigor + Downpour since with those he reaches 85 million for me.

because brann tank is a real beast if healer is doing his job properly
He’s more like 25m for me. At least he was last time I checked.
I will retract my initial statment about Bran sucking as a tank. That was baes on me playing a Mage with him as Tank and in that scenario, he really sucked.
However, Now I have played with him in tank stance as a Priest Disc and he basically ROCKS.
He does a large amount of damage, stay alive and are pretty good at taking aggro.
I gues his tank stance is aimed solely at healers, as he gets better and stronger for all heals he gets, and as a Disc I pretty much heals him if he needs it or not as long as I have attunement on him.
It’s not all the time. I think when I enter the instance he has around 40 million. It’s some long-duration proc that brings his hp to very high values.

The only problem I have with Brann is that sometimes he decides to pull mobs by himself.
Usually at a very bad moment. 
I like that bit of chaos he can bring.
I don’t think it’s too much.
But sure, I did die more than once from his touring.
