they should atleast give some Echoes of Ny’alotha back from Scrapping/Disenchanting/Cleansing corrupted item, since u will replace all those not-the-best corruptions u currently wearing.

So we dont get a reset on echoes of ny’alotha?
I have 0 on my main, because it has every single essence unlocked, so because I am “ahead of the curve” in that reguard, i am behind in farming bis corruption, while a druid friend of mine has 12k rn.
This seems to need a new currency insted of reusing on old one. This is the titanium residuum volume 2.

I wonder if they missed something on this post or Blizzard will give only Rank 1.
I think this change is good to an extent, eliminates part of the terrible RNG we have currently, although I think every corruption should be able.
I was dubious Blizzard would implement a vendor, I guess I was wrong.
they should delay putting corruption effects in vendor, allow mains to gather up the echoes and implement them at a later date… That would be my solution opposed to just resetting the echoes. Either that or make some of the more sustainable corruption effects to be on the RNG as RNG is still a factor in BfA

Echoes of Ny’alotha will be much more abundant than before. As we expand the usefulness of Echoes of Ny’alotha, we want to ensure that players who haven’t felt the need to accumulate them don’t feel disadvantaged, so we will be increasing both the droprates of Echoes and their costs by a factor of 5.

This means that when these changes take effect, a Major Assault will award 625 Echoes, up from 125.
But wait…
The cost to purchase an Essence will also increase by the same factor, from 500 to 2500 Echoes.
Effectively making it’s still totally pointless and not a catch up mechanics for alts.
If the aim to the help alts why the heck increase the price by 5, you might as well just left it a 500 and not increased the rate to drop. This is a case of “more numbers, more better” syndrome where you massage the players ego with huge numbers that seem good but are terrible when actually looked at in even the smallest detail

Tbh i’ve been looking for more people running into the issue of not having Echoes on his main cause u already have all the essences (or rather cause i dont play any other alt/toon). So yeah, hope they either reset on patch day the echoes or change the currency for the corruption/improvement mechanics.

Its more of a case to lessen the blow to people who did not hoard echoes before.
Like in my case:
Rogue has around 400 echoes left
Mage: 10.5k…simply cause I was always cba to get that 1 last essence I can buy so I just passively hoarded it.
Now 10.5k aint much and there are peps who have more. So they inflate the numbers so my 10.5k is not a huge headstart comparing to peps who got nada.

Well, people. We can all complain as much as we like but, at the end of the day they are trying to do something nice for you.
As it’s stated in the post farming the Echoes will be a lot easier than it is now.

Nah. They should either reset everyone to zero (like the residium vendor at the start of 8.3) or retrospectively reward mains. I’ve done every single assault since they were released, done many m+, killed raid bosses. the lot. Fairest way is to reset for everyone and start fresh.

I am not really caring about resetting or not. We get 5 times more anyway. People who are farming essences for some time i do not want to get into tears either. Whatever when players have already 15k laying around 
Really happy to see something happens with this crazy rng system. Hopefully blizz also can fix this cleanse/recorrupt issue. Or i am going to run a lot of 465 items

Corruptions rotate twice a week (wed/saturday in line with mini assaults). The one above is an example.
I mean i still wouldn’t like to be 10k+ echoes behind others due to a system flaw

You are already 15k behind on players with the lucky RNG anyway. I am running myself no damage corruption at all. You think i do that voluntarily?
