Hello,
today a saw a male Tauren (a warrior or druid) in its human form in The Barrens running, apparently he was doing some quests. I followed him with my hunter (I was curious), but I did not see him on my minimap. Instead, I saw a pesky bot mage farming nearby. So I can conclude, my minimap radar options work well in displaying humans, but they fail when displaying a Tauren player.
Does anybody experience similar issues? Is a Tauren not considered humanoid?
Every playable race is considered humanoid. I remember complaints about hunter tracking not working with some classes (probably warriors). I guess, this bug still is not fixed.
Shamans in wolf form are displayed as animals. Druids in cat or bear or travel form are considered as animals (and can be scared, of course). I don’t know how the druid owl is diplayed as I didn’t see an owl for a long time. Tree form druids (in TBC) are elementals and can be banished iirc. Did I forget a class? What about worgen in their worgen form?
If it ‘was’ a bug, it is still a bug haha.
